I hope we don't what's the point of getting a player for cheap if he is average at best !?

Re: Tevez
With tevez Milan will without a doubt win the league...why are you so against having Tevez?

Tevez is a class player on the field and I could see him as being quite useful for us, however, there are a few significant reasons not to get him. In order of how important I think they are:
1. Opportunity cost: Tevez = Less money for a quality midfield signing (which is fair to say is desperately needed)
2. His wages will be ridiculous
3. Less time for El Shaarawy
4. He is cup-tied
5. He could destabilize the team if his attitude problems continue (I could've put this higher up the list, but I didn't seeing as having Cassano, Boateng and Ibra all in the same team hasn't harmed us)

Re: Tevez
Its Silvios decision ,if he likes the toy he'll buy it,doesnt matter if the team needs certain type of player in a certain place on the field!!,BTW,its funny how some of our brazillians here dont want him here because they know their beloved Robinho will be pushed out most likely if he arrives!concerning El Shaarawy, even with cassano out the picture and Inzaghi falling out of favor; doesnt get much time .He needs to be loaned out to gain experience and bulk up !

Re: Tevez
you might as well stop being an idiot, and go ahead and say "ganso will be butthurt" lmao.I could care less about Robinho, but i care about pato and i think he has a future with the club unlike tevez.
Go ahead,be ignorant and forget how important Pato is/was for us,i will love seeing our Ibra-Tevez partnership in a few years when the FFP rule kicks in and they are both in decline.
people living in FIFA 12 world is hilarious

Re: Tevez
Tevez is a better player than Pato though ... Pato can definetily outgrow him , but can he stay free of injuries ? He's injury prone , relying on him or building our squad around him will only make us suffer , just look at Arsenal with Van Persie ...

Re: Tevez
tevez is better than pato atm,but until when?next season?maybe the season after?we dont even know if he will perform for us in the first place.Pato is only 22
and who says pato will always be injury prone?look at iniesta for example...
as i mentioned earlier, lets not forget fifa fair play,we are not going to be able to replace ibra, cassano and tevez successfully when they decline.

I don't know what about Iniesta , but Pato's problem are his leg muscles ... he can get the injured anytime , and that's declining his progres if it already hasn't ...
FFP ? We've been in the FFP since more than 10 years ago , lol ... We're not Barca , Real or City to break the bank every year for a good player .... We could get rid of Tevez by letting his contract expire , we're not going to sign him on a 5-year contract to brainf*ck ourselves on how to sell him ....

Re: Tevez
We all love Pato here weve had so much hopes that he would even potentially be a Ballon Dor nominee one day!but, unfortunately hes been getting injured alot and he hasnt raised his bar ,he was playing much better 2 years ago than now!the benefit of getting tevez is our team scoring more goals killing the game faster so we can give youngsters playing time!this is the problem why we dont play our youngsters ,we cant risk bringing El Sharawy in the 60th minutte when we are 1 up or even 2 goals up!Ibra can get really bad in midseason the competition will keep him on his toes!another option,Tevez playing behind the strikers(Pato,Ibra) he is very capable!

Re: Tevez
I'm too divided to vote. The last option obviously does not fit, Tevez by no means is "meh" and even the chubby version of him that I saw earlier this year still looks lethal.
He could be amazing or he could wreck the great current vibe in the dressing room.. So its difficult.. But Tevez is the type of player you don't pass up the opportunity to take a gamble on.

Re: Tevez
I guess the move makes sense if Robinho is to leave but that leaves Milan a little thin for the champions league, considering that Tevez will not be able to play. In Serie A, I do not see how Milan needs that type of reinforcement up front, assuming that Robinho would stay.
Above all else, Tevez is a quality player, quit possibly the best to move in January so that in itself is something. Not the mention the discounted price Milan is sure to receive.

Re: Tevez
If Pato stays true to his injury habits, coupled with Cassano's absense, Tevez would be useful
As much as I was against signing Tevez, it looks like we will be moving forward and if or when he does arrive, he'll be a Milanista, and i'll welcome him with open arms

Galiiani with Tevez agents in a well-known restaurant in Milano.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, tevez could be use in this system.

Re: Tevez
This is a goal.com article, but I thought it worth posting anyway...
AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has revealed that his club are closing in on a move for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, after agreeing personal terms with the player.
The 67-year-old informed Milan Channel the intricacies of the deal they have proposed, which could see the Argentine forward initially arrive at San Siro on loan until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent transfer worth €15 million and a three-year contract.
"We have an agreement with Tevez, he wants to come to Milan," said Galliani. "We proposed a loan to Manchester City and now we wait for a response.
"Tevez will earn €3 million euros from January until May. We should then redeem his contract [permanently] and he will then earn €5 million per year until 2015.
"It will be a solution, one that has been suggested by Milan, of around €15m which should satisfy the Arab leadership."
Galliani also announced that Tevez will take a pay cut in order to complete a move to Massimiliano Allegri's side: "He will give up a lot of money just to play with the Rossoneri."
The news comes in quick succession of claims in the Italian media that the hitman's agent Kia Joorabchian held a second successive meeting with the Milan supremo on Tuesday.
