Happy to see his free kick form is coming back. Had a great free kick against Arsenal as well that Cech did well to keep out. He went from scoring like 4 or 5 FK's in a season to going like two years without a FK goal. Buffon should have done better but that was also a very good free kick. Low, spinning away from the goalkeeper, a bit unexpected in going to the keeper's side...not easy for any keeper.

Regarding Eriksen. Spurs is his level. He won't be as good at a higher level club. Very much like Pjanic who was great at Roma but not as good at Juve.

not sure the Pjanic x Eriksen comparison holds, Eriksen is playing high level games in CL and EPL. Pjanic was fruitful at Roma in an era when Serie A was an all time low.

To me Eriksen is clearly better, and has shown a lot more

RG is usually great at judging talent but clearly his hate for Tottenham clouds his mind.

At this point all I know is that SOME team has to come in and rescue Eriksen from the atrocity that is Tottenham Hotspurs.

He's happy at a top 10 European club. Spurs are his level because Spurs ARE high-level. Imagine taking a step down to a club that can't beat Madrid, Dortmund, United, Liverpool etc

Before this season Eriksen was a known CL flop, Pjanic has performed in Europe for longer.
