Should Arsenal try to sign Carlos Tevez?

When you are not injured and Wenger puts you on injured list you have no hope at Arsenal.

Re: Carlos Tevez
I feel bad for Chamakh, I don't know what happened to him. When he first started I thought he showed a lot of promise. He needs to work on his physique in my opinion. He's tall, and a great header of the ball and can outjump players but he needs to bulk up, I don't think he's strong enough.
Either way I don't think Wenger has faith in him anymore

Re: Carlos Tevez
With that being said, assuming he stays in England, I wouldn't mind having Tevez on loan. Sure he can't speak English but Arteta can help him as they both speak Spanish, and maybe he just needs to gtfo of Man City to be surrounded by cooler players with a better sense of humor at Arsenal.
Even though I don't think this is happening, I would say let's give him a chance. There's no denying that he's a world class striker and I am sure he would love to play with RVP.

Re: Carlos Tevez
Can't really turn him down he can play wide as well.
No way City would loan a player of his quality to us though, I think he will probably end up back in Argentina or Brazil. I think his problems at City are more to do with the clash of egos amongst all the big names, while at Arsenal with Bendtner gone no large egos.

Re: Carlos Tevez
Woudl people really want to change our current system to accomodate him, though?
Sure, him making a good partnership with van Persie is not something I can really disagree with, but our form has improved and van Persie is scoring for fun playing a lone striker formation. Is Tevez, with all his problems and insane wage demmands, really necessary?

The wage demands can be a problem but I really think he just needs a change of scene. RvP is doing an incredible job as the lone striker but we can't always rely on him and expect him to win the game for us every game. I think we need all the depth we can get in attack. We all know how good Carlos is and he will score goals wherever he goes so this move can't really hurt us in my opinion. I agree with Emaharg that it's probably a clash of egos and a falling out with Mancini that's making Tevez look like a villain at the moment and he would shine for us.
I am speaking hypothetically because I really don't think this can happen but it would be good for us, me thinks

Re: Carlos Tevez
I'm pretty sure not turning up to training and breaching several contractual obligations are the reasons for Tevez looking like a villain. City and Mancini really haven't done anything wrong; it's all Tevez.
I just don't see how his situation would be any better with us. Is he closer to his family? No. Is London a nicer area than Manchester? Maybe, but it's hardly any different to Manchester.

Tevez will be a great edition and he been playing in England for a long time, I dont think 4 months would hurt us. I just dont was us to burn RVP out, we need a player that can change the game for us and I believe he would be looking to prove others wrong.

What you don't understand is the trouble the guy brings even when everything is all good and the team he is doing well...he is capable of creating unrest

I don't see this recovery lasting if we pile everything on RvPs shoulders. He'd be fine for four months.

Re: Carlos Tevez
on the field tevez can be a great addition to any team. i dont think 4mths will hurt and in any case his confrontations are hardly against his team mates so perhaps d team unity argument's not strong enough. a permanent deal will have to come with a change in the wage structure though
