As yall know.. or don't know, facebook has turned into pornbook... and here's one take on who and why.

Heard about the attacks Anonymous had planned but I thought they never came to fruition, which might still be true, or now they are popping up a week or so after. Which is what it seems like.

Although, in my opinion, Facebook is way too big, way too powerful, and way too widespread for Anonymous to take down Facebook. It's too big, it's like how they were threatening the Mexican cartel. While this is a good way to get publicity for Anonymous-whoever they really are- they aren't going to get much farther with Facebook than this, IMO.

At the end of the day, there is only so much one can do, and Anonymous may even be just 5 people, or thousands, but Facebook is not going to fade away. It might become less used as of now, but eventually Anonymous will stop anyway, even if they are able to get such pictures on Facebook right now...Facebook will eventually gradually be able to cut that out, and Anonymous will likely stop due to moving on to other things anyway.

I think it's just a publicity stunt by Anon tbh.

EDIT: I don't use or have a FB account, so if anything I've said regarding facebook is wrong, then please correct me! Very Happy

No... its as bad as you say.. believe me...

Yesterday was the worst I've seen facebook in regards to obscene pictures which were beyond that... doesn't even scratch the surface tbh.

But i have a lot of 4chan friends actually.. mostly from /SP/ though,..the Sports section and with 4chan down right now, It makes sense that Anonymous are starting to fulfill their promise.

according to some of them Anonymous is lejjun... most though think they are Phaggots and hate them. They're a waste of time imo.

and they threatened the Mexican Cartels? lol.. good luck.

While what you say may be correct, I don't have facebook and don't plan to ever get an account, the question is...can they keep this up, and if they can, how long?

They may be able to right now, but there is no way a corporation like Facebook can fall to Anon. No chance. And I stick by my point and say that Anon knows this, they are simply doing it for publicity, they seem like they have wanted to get their name on the market and what better way to do that than Facebook?

It can't last. If it does, that's a shame, I won't complain though. All people do at my school is talk about facebook ffs, it's annoying, if you want to share your love for a comment on facebook, then share that love on facebook/ rant lol.

But Facebook is too big to go down to Anon.

Props to Anon on this though.
