My fave is the one against Marseille

Perfect swerve, power and accuracy on that one.

Its scary because he has actually improved a lot this season in terms of beating the wall and getting it on target. I guess he always has two things on his mind: either to go for the spectacular (which leads to either amazing goals or hitting the wall), or hit the target ( normally straight to the goalie) causing panic in the area and hoping his Cfs would take advantage.

I do agree with Zealous, he does create a spectacle when he is taking a free-kick.

Actually, Del Piero and Juninho are better FK takers... All time, Platini was the best. Forlan is pretty amazing too.

When it came to free kicks, Juninho made the ball his b*tch

Cronaldo doesn't come close, i'm afraid

Zico was the best free kick taker ever.

And Yes Ronaldo does rank somewhere near Juninho if he keeps scoring 5/6 free kicks a season.

I hope van Persie gets his shit and luck together this season, then.

Back in the day, he put in a fair ammounts of FKs for fun.

I've heard from same sources of info (old man and old man's old man) that Rivelino was better than Zico and Zico was f-ing awesome with a dead ball. Must be something in the water down in Brasil...

Also, I literally hate Cristiano's free kicks...

Ronaldo's not the first free kick specialist in history guys. Yeah he's great at them but he's not the best FK taker of all time.

I would put my $ on Sneijder, Del Piero, Pirlo, Juninho, Ronaldinho, Robben even Zlatan to take a more successful FK than CR. Van Persie's FKs used to be very deadly too but lately he's been off.

I like CR and am not saying his FKs are bad because he does score some beauties. It's just that his conversion rate is pretty bad and does anyone else at Madrid get a chance to take FKs?
