Ciro Ferrara deserved criticism for his time at Juventus, however he doesn't deserve the label mediocre in my opinion. When Ferrara left Juventus were in the Champions League qualification spots. They haven't returned since unfortunately. Some daft moves and responsible for some very poor results, however with his work at the U-21 level he's showing he still has potential.

Donadoni could go either way as well in that respect. I like him, he trusts youth, however still an average manager though he can improve if he's surrounded by mature, intelligent assistants who can help him find his feet. Did some fine work with Livorno and got us through qualification for the last Euro but there were some bad defeats he needs to live up to. Above mediocre though in my opinion, however he needs to do well in Cagliari or he'll be remembered for that 3-0 loss to the Netherlands more than anything else. His tenure at Napoli was also disastrous.
