Re: Kroos, the Sniper
I must also mention that his development has really slowed down with Bayern and his far restricted from being creative as much as he was with Bayer, considering that Bayern have very creative players like Ribery, Robben and Schweini.
1:04 he does that pass all the time, I dont know if is a pass or cross.?
But his slowly and steadily developing with Bayern and maybe that will be better for him on a long run, in order not to burn out.

Re: Kroos, the Sniper
We must also remember that he was a better player than Vidal when he has with Leverkusen
Re: Kroos, the Sniper
Toni Kroos will be better than Schweinsteiger if he develops his Defensive ability. When he played vs Brazil, he was robbed off the ball many times. If he works on that, he can replace schweinsteiger in like 5 years.

Re: Kroos, the Sniper
Toni Kroos doesn't have the lungs and adamantium skeleton Schweinsteiger possesses, though. Schweini is never injured and has awesome physique (apart from being troll ugly). He also doesn't have that natural aggression. He's more the passive type you don't really notice but keeps the ball flowing. Yeah, sorta like Xavi as Zealous and Viva said.
But hell, he's very young and still has time to grow. I think Loew and Heynckes both have different views on how to use him. Heynckes remembers him from his Leverkusen days when he was scoring for fun and an awesome force down the left flank, leaving defensive jobs to Vidal, Rolfes etc. A more offensive player.
Loew and also van Gaal have deployed him in deep midfield roles to keep the ball flowing, in a more possession based style. The Xavi/Pirlo role (which only Schweini can pull off, on current ability).
He'll become a great player, and it might do him good playing differently in Bayern and Germany. Might make him a more complete player. I still prefer him in a more advanced role, though. His defensive abilities and workrate aren't that good, yet.

Re: Kroos, the Sniper
He's very understated and sneaky.
It's kind of sad though that it seems he has lost confidence in his shot since he has one of the best imo.
I'll use this thread as an excuse to postone of my favourite goals ever:

Re: Kroos, the Sniper
He tries plenty of shots of Bayern, but they're just not on target He needs to get it up to speed.
He's probably limited to passing the ball, though. In Germany because he plays so deep, in Bayern because he's the conductor between deep midfield and the wingers and forward.

Re: Kroos, the Sniper
Van Gaal killed his outside rage confidence but he his slowly getting his confidence back
Evidence the goal against A.C Milan

Re: Kroos, the Sniper
I rate him highly, but not high enough to displace Robbery or Muller when Robben gets back. He is very underrated though, and can maybe play nextto Schweini when Robben gets back. For Germany though as a center attacking mid, Ozil and Gotze are definitely above him, though Kroos isbetter than Holtby, who is also very underrated.

Re: Kroos, the Sniper
Is this young man going to be the best player Bayern Munich and Germany has produced in a very long time.?
His highly under-rated, his still only 21 and his the best passer in Bundesliga and Germany, one of the best in the world and for some reason his protected from media hype.
In 2years time Kroos will be a high Breed of Schweinsteiger, his already better with passing, Technique, long rage, he just needs to improve his strength, defensive ability and work-rate

Re: Kroos, the Sniper
I'm in love with his long range shooting technique. He doesn't need much room or touches, the ball clearly flies in a slight bow but it doesn't slow down in the air. Honestly, his shooting remind me very much of Gerrard If he grows to be even half as effective as him, all hail KroosIdrisozet wrote:Is this young man going to be the best player Bayern Munich and Germany has produced in a very long time.?

Re: Kroos, the Sniper
I think he will better than Gerard, Lampard, Schweini, Xavi, Iniesta and Oezil in few years time.
Remember his only 21 and his got a bit of everyone

Yeah maybe I should calm down a bit, His my favourite player and I really dont like saying much about him until someone brings it up.
But trust me In few years time he will be bigger than Schweini.
Re: Kroos, the Sniper
His long range shots are certainly special...

That one is a bit old, I think you should have a look at this recent one it defines current Kroos much better.

Nooooooooooo
His fine where he his, first team player of one of the best teams in the world why would he want to leave.
You guys can have Badstuber.
Re: Kroos, the Sniper
Actually, on second thoughts, he'd probably not start here. We've got Wilshere and Ramsey
Still, Kroos would be effective while playing deep and allowing one of Wilshere and Ramsey to roam forward effectively.
But Ramshere play extremely well together
