I realize the Ballon d'Or is heavily biased towards offensive players, but the fact that Neuer isn't included is blasphemy.

The Balon D'or is really just a rich man's Castrol Ranking, or FIFA ranking. They're all shit.

I can already predict it:

the nominations list is pointless since the realistic number of compatitors for the award never exceeds 5 players in the best cases. these lists are a waste of time and are usually politically influenced when fifa is making them

Götze is great, but still mostly just "great for his age"-great, not great-great, if you get what I'm trying to say.

He might be the best player ni the world at his age bracket, but he's not a top25/world player.

Neuer, Gomez and Hummels were robbed HARD though. Especially Neuer deserves it probably more than half the actual list.

But yeah, Di Natale (hell, Italy as a whole) was robbed hard as well.
