Also, a lot of fantastic players at lesser clubs get ignored for no reason.

Forlan, Sneijder and Alves do not belong at all. Why are Gomez, Cavani, Hazard and Di Natale not in there?

And as great as Villa has been in the past... 2011 has been a crap year for him. Doesn't deserve to be here at all considering Gomez and Van Persie were left off.

uh just the fact that people acknowledge him to be the second best player and he did score 53 goals you know..
its a really predictable and lame list.. looks like a whos who of football's big names rather than players based on performance

Forland and Sneijder I agree with but Alves? Did you watch Barca last season, he had 20+ assists, dont let your bias get in the way of logic.

In fact, Casiallas being on the lsit over Valdes is even more scandalous. This is just a popularity contest.

Gomez, Cavani, Hazard and Di Natle not being there is a disgrace as well.

Casillas over Valdes is actually pretty lol worthy.

His mistakes are never brough into the light by barcas success not to say he had nothing to do last year and when a decent team moved the ball up like arsenal he made absolute blunders like RVP goal...lol his positioning for that goal

Valdes save % was second best last year.

Yeah pull a weak grounder from a barca triangle and collect it with single hand .......save

clearly dude,save percentage is bull,to rate GKs you need to rate actuall performance.

Szeznyny probabily will have a low save % than degea but he was miles better so far this year..

and valdes wasnt even Barcas top 6 performers let alone Ballon dor list...
