Juventus fined for racism....again
The Bianconeri must pay €10,000 for chants that were heard from a section of their support. Directed towards an opposition player, it was ruled that they 'constituted an expression of racial discrimination'.

Re: Juventus fined for racism....again
Were inter fined for some fans making a sick remark about Heysel?
Racism is bad but it doesn't compare to laughing at the expense of many dead people. And don't take this the wrong way i'm not sticking up for the fans. Both clubs should be fined.

...eh..
..AND.. "The Nerazzurri have been fined €20,000 for fans that unveiled an offensive banner relating to the Heysel stadium disaster of 1985. "
Inter fans hits a new low.

Inter were fined €20,000 for fans that unveiled a banner relating to the Heysel stadium disaster of 1985. The words on the banner: 'Poor quality iron - nostalgia for Heysel' referring to Juve's new stadium.
Edit: A bunch of idiots made this one time offense. Juve fans (those watching the game) seem to repeat what they think of black players.

Re: Juventus fined for racism....again
Before u just post the part that u like and cyber pls first read the whole story than comment about it :
Inter and Juventus have been fined heavily for their fans' behaviour during the weekend's Derby d'Italia at San Siro.
Whilst a number of suspensions, warnings and fines were handed out today to players and Coaches in the wake of a busy weekend for Serie A's referees, the most significant punishments have been handed to Inter and Juventus.
This is in relation to their respective sets of supporters' behaviour during Saturday night's match.
The Nerazzurri have been fined €20,000 for fans that unveiled an offensive banner relating to the Heysel stadium disaster of 1985.
The Bianconeri must pay €10,000 for chants that were heard from a section of their support. Directed towards an opposition player, it was ruled that they 'constituted an expression of racial discrimination'.
Elsewhere, Cagliari were fined €2,500 as their fans threw a firecracker on to the playing field during Sunday evening's defeat at home to Lazio.

>10,000
>20,000
Is that a joke or something?
Heavy fines? Those are pocket change
The fines should be 50,000+ easily....putting them that low makes the whole situation a joke

Re: Juventus fined for racism....again
Realistically fines do nothing. I mean a £100,000 fine to a player for one of these clubs is nothing.
I guess the fine is more of an indication they know it's happening than anything else.

Re: Juventus fined for racism....again
Its not about the money.....
Its about the message.
Its another blemish against Juventus, how is this hard to understand?
The fine could have been 99 cents, its just about acknowledging a truly disgusting act.
Same goes for Inter and their banner.

That is fair...but not actually. How do you know which of them said it ?
And this thread is laughable. Mocking the dead ?
Juventus fans retaliated to this by being racist. Nobody had the intent to do so, but Inter fans asked for it and unfortunately Maicon had to pay the price.
Bad way to react on behalf of my fellow Ultras, but nonetheless, a fine is merited I suppose.
