Bangladeshis, Indians and Pakistanis make a significant portion of UK population. Also London is a tourist hub anyway so people prefer to travel there with cricket matches being a bonus to tourism. Really is the perfect host for cricket.

Personally of the belief even with this score, England would still beat Pakistan. But as a response, Pakistan did extremely well after W.I put them to the sword.

It was a score way too far brought mostly in part by some surprisingly poor fielding. But I gotta give Pakistan credit, they really found their fighting spirit for this game, unfortunately for Jay, it was against England. You guys are still favorites though but this was a surprising result.

At least it's early in the tournament. I don't think England will panic too much because their two best players made 100s and it was the sixth game in the row they've posted a 300+ score. If one of Roy, Morgan or Stokes (hardly scrubs) actually gets a decent score, England probably win. Like, imagine if it was Buttler walking in with 90 runs needed of 60 instead of Moeen Ali.

It's great for the tournament that Bangladesh beat SA and now Pakistan have beaten England after losing their 11 in a row.

What a match man. Incredible by both the teams. Pakistan remain a fascinating side. England got a bit of reality check that they still need to improve. But the quality in batting was so good. Some of the shots by both the teams were just unbelievable.

How is Butler not a top 10 ODI player lol? Fantastic innings. He nearly did it.

Also do England really not have better bowlers than the current ones? batting can't always salvage the match.

And yea it's been a great tournament so far.

What a game and what a comeback tho

Good thing for England is they are facing this reality check early into the tournament. I mean we're talking about a team that had lost 11 games in a row and got thrashed by Windies coming into this game. Can't take any team for granted which is why I think it'll be the best world cup in recent editions.

Since De Villiers retired, I think Butler is the best hitter in the game. Shame he couldn't finish this game off.
