If they do we'll lose Laughing

Going to be great banter in India when our tail enders score more runs than our top and middle order.

Yea that's what I mentioned before. India is going to be a disaster with the way England are playing against Bangladesh.

5-0 India at this rate

Kohli alone will probably make more runs than England combined

that's the problem though. only Kohli seems to be the proper batsmen capable of handling elite bowling attacks such as of England, other are more or less like side heroes. this is not the batting order that any bowling attack visiting subcontinent should be weary of.

Prime collapse from England. 100-0 to 164 all out. rofl

Amazing. I woke up and saw Cook and Duckett with a 100 partnership and thought we were finally going to have a good innings but then we kept throwing wickets away.

Good for Bangladesh, all the same. They've got a major talent on their hands in Mehedi.

I'm not too optimistic about India. Anderson will miss the tour so that's a lot of quality out the bowling attack already, and the batting is looking hopeless atm.

Yea Mehedi looks like a great talent. Bangladesh themselves seems to be a lot better overall than they were in the past. Good to have another solid team in Cricket.

I wonder what changes England will make for India. Ballance could be dropped? hasn't really impressed.

Ballance for sure could be dropped. Maybe Hameed will come in and Duckett will drop down to four. Could promote Bairstow to four and include Buttler at six or seven. Hales could be back as well.

Bowling will stay the same. Woakes, Broad, Stokes and Finn as the fast bowlers, then one of Rashid or Ansari as the second spin option.

You haven't been following cricket so you don't know. We have improved a lot. Last year we beat Pakistan, India and South Africa back to back on serieses. We are really strong at home

Shakib solidified himself as the best all rounder in the world. He is our greatest ever player in my opinion. I just want one major trophy, will never forget about losing Asia Cup 2012 to 2 runs. This generation deserved that trophy.

So 19 year old Haseeb Hameed will make his England debut tomorrow against India. Ben Duckett drops down to no. 4, with Ballance dropped completely.

England's team could be:

Cook, Hameed, Root, Duckett, Stokes, Bairstow, Alli, Woakes, Rashid, Broad, Ansari/Finn (depending on the pitch)

Hamid played solid knock of 31, faced spinners with confidence that is rare to see in English batsmen. Btw it's 36th over and ball has started to reverse Laughing still amused at England's decision to drop Anderson.

Anderson's injured.

Root on his way to another 100 and Alli looking surprisingly solid out there. Was expecting to wake up and see us five or six down Laughing

Commentator just said Root is the first foreign batsmen to make a 100 in India since Michael Clarke in 2013 hmm

Who will make more runs this series: Root or Kholi?

Kohli is playing in home condition so I would back him, depends on how English bowlers perform though. spinners are the key.

it wasn't Moen Ali it was Swann and Panesar who wrecked us. And yes the current crop of Indian batsmen do struggle against quality spinners.

I miss Swann Sad

Root out for 124 c&b. Bowler almost screwed it up by celebrating too soon.

Alli on 88, Stokes in and Bairstow still to come. Should definitely be getting 400+ here.

Right. BTW Panesar!! Proud dat guy was a boss lol. Wonder where is he now.
But then when was Ali's exploits? Was it when India toured England last time ? Lol I remember the Kohli's and Rohit Sharma's repeatedly failing to pick basic offspin every single time. It was after that series I think Ali even got to cement his place as a first teamer hehe.

That might have been when India last came to England. I remember there were doubts about Ali as a full-time spinner but there was one series where he just took tons of wickets.

Panesar was playing reserve team cricket for Essex (my home county) not too long ago. His career basically went down the toilet. Think he's at Sussex now getting his shit together.
