The Great Bradman once declared his team when he was on 299 not out

btw Clark has worked his way up to cricket....he used to work at a cricket shop, packing and fixing bats...and he left school to do that

Dhoni: "We didn't perform well up till now. Warner played really well, in that one session he took the game away from us. The failure in the batting definitely hurt us." Dhoni backs the seniors by saying "Class is always there, they have the experience, its just in two back-to-back series that we have failed."

"What has happened, the last couple of series, we have not adapted well to the conditions quickly enough. Winning in Adelaide is the only motivation we have now, the bowlers have shown they can take wickets, we need to put the runs on the board."

Doesn't seem like they are gonna make any changes because Dhoni doesn't have the balls to tell the seniors that they sucked and need to be dropped..... still coming up with excuses for them...

I honestly think Dhoni should resign as captain and quite test cricket tbh..He is not tailor-made for test cricket.

Yea right....after you guys won a World cup for the first time 38 years......Dhoni's gonna resign.

No way.

They'd probably burn down his house.

lol..Why would they do that ?

Imo he is already on borrowed time as far as test captaincy is concerned..Infact i think he shouldnt even be in the lineup..

Just look at his scores and talk..Ravichandran Ashwin who is primarily a bowler has done better than him..Offers no stability whatsoever down the order..

Let him stick to garbage IPL and one-day cricket and i would like to see someone deserving playing instead of him..

He has earned enough money and fame ,i'm sure they are better players than him with technique and tempermant for TEST CRICKET.

Swann is better than him.:coffee:

He is pretty overrated imo mainly cuz of his doosra..Though i believe there are not a lot of great spinners atm ever since Warne and Murali retired.

Oh. Didn't realize he was that old. Still, with modern training techniques, we should see him for another 4-5 years. I hope he maintains this current form and improves his bowling.

I almost cried when Mohammed Aamer got suspended.

If he hadn't I would probably have watched multiple Pakistan matches just to watch him bowl.

Swann has nothing on Ajmal..... Ajmal's arsenal of variation and spin is alot better then Swann....

And there aren't many people who have mastered the art of Doosra like Ajmal... only the inventor Saqlain Mushtaq and Murali have better control then him at it....

You can't be overrated have 93 wickets in just 16 matches.... Ajmal Afridi and Hafeez are the best trio of spinners in ODI/T20 currently.... and have one of the best economies

plus he was the leading wicket taker last year... and 10 already this year

Yup the same spinner who lost you a place in the T20 WC final from a winnable
position..

I can only admit to the fact that he can deceive batsmen by bowling the doosra well and regularly thus keeping the batsmen guessing but he is a bowler i've seen who doesnt thrive in pressure situations..In that respect Afridi is much better..

I can agree that Pakistan have the best spin attack in the world atm..

But Swann is a very intelligent spinner..Great reader ,has superb flight on the ball ,i've seen many batsmen getting out when he flights the ball ,thats his main strength imo..Still with the limited attributes he possesses(only the off-spinner and flipper) ,he is very effective.Tbh i judge quality of spinners mainly on test cricket and i think Swann has proven that he is NO.1 ..

if you only judge them by Test then Ajmal is better then Swann in test......more wickets in less time and has a better Average and economy...

i would say Swann is a better ODI bowler and overall player then Ajmal but Ajmal is the better Test bowler....
