Rhodes is in a dark and disturbed character at the moment. It was funny at first, but now it's dragged on a little. As I said earlier, he's one who I see great potential.

Yeh like I said on the old forum, I think CM Punk can become the top heel in the company. He could win the WWE Championship then dominate RAW with Nexus. Mason Ryan would then just need to win the U.S title and then the whole stable would be champions.

They could of done that with the Corre too but Jackson left the stable. I think the 3 in Corre wouldn't be bad as individual competitors.

Oh definitely, the whole stable concept has been dead for years now. I think the Nexus >> the Corre as a dominant heel stable, so I'm not too disappointed with Jackson leaving.

Speaking of Mason Ryan, they surely knew what they were doing by bringing him in with his current role. Evolution must still be in the minds of the creative team.

True about CM and I wasn't putting them on the same level, it was only in regards to Batista's presence.

Cena and Orton as a heel pair could be brilliant, but you need a face big enough to put them there. Think of HHH and Austin, they had the Rock (plus Vince as a pretty handy heel). Who from the current roster could play that role?

Yeh that's what I was thinking. Both of them are currently the top 2 superstars in WWE and no one touches them. WWE would have to build superstars like they have never done before in order to make the power trip significant.

Sadly, I wouldn't count on your power trip for a few years. I feel part of the Rock's return was to test how Cena would fare as a heel these days. It worked for the older fans, but the kids still stayed with him.

They can open up so many stories and plots. All it takes is good development and a few risky moves, but I feel like we are asking too much from the current creative team.

True, there's no backdrop or anything. That's where I loe great promos, they draw the rivalry beyond the ring.

Our discussion made me want to find a few moments from the Power Trip. I'm glad I found this match in full, it really shows how lethal they were.

I had the idea as soon as he lost the title to Randy. He was never going to recover it back, and last week's SD! basically set the heel turn.

I don't like how he was screwed over, but as you said, Orton and Cena get the preference.

Christian has a following and I'm a fan, but I think being in Edge's shadow doesn't help him. He will challenge Orton for the WHC at the next PPV, so let's see how it goes.

As far as wrestling ability goes, he can hold his own.

I think it's sad to see how King is being used these days. He and Paul Heyman were the best heel commentators. You don't get that extra layer from the announce table anymore.

Yeah I have never been convinced by Cole. It just seemed like he was trying too hard, so much so that it didn't sound natural.

What did you think of Matt Striker as a commentator?

He's alright. It's a good thing the Lawler-Cole feud ended. I'd rather watch a mid-card match instead of them taking up time on RAW.

That was one of the most painful "feuds" I've ever had to watch. The only fun part was Stone Cold's involvement.

these are bad times fro wrestling..dont think it will ever claw back to the heights it once reached..except for the royal rumble and wrestlemania PPV , i hardly watch ny wrestling
