It's amazing how he left injured as such a badass heel and he returned with such massive pops. He was really missed over that whole Invasion period.

You just knew he was going to win the Rumble that year, but it was still a great event.

Biker Taker was great for that time period, but unfortunately Vince buried that character (literally).

You're right, the build up was excellent. The HHH and Austin face off in the Rumble itself was quite a moment too.

I don't think it's guest host. That thing stopped some time ago. It's a special 3 hour episode.

It felt strange seeing Vince and Austin in the ring this past Raw without a confrontation. You can't really trust Stone Cold, so I have no clue what he will get up to next week as GM.

It was nice to see Booker T in a match. He looked a little rusty, but the Scissor Kick was sharp.

I actually wonder if we will ever find out. They could easily make a story to fade him / her out of the program, since I believe they were looking for someone in particular but couldn't deliver.

Back in the old days, they had the Commissioner and that worked well enough. I know the star power was different, but the role itself wasn't too bad.

To be fair, they did Tough Enough back in the Attitude Era days. Maven soon disappeared and Josh Matthews is doing commentary lol.

I'm keen to see where Alex Riley goes. I still watch it because I've accepted that there are up-and-comers who can put on a good show. If I didn't believe they could, I'd stop watching. It's nice to reflect on the better days, but I can't dismiss everyone in the current roster.

who acc to u can put on a good show ???miz ???ziggler ??swagger ??all are worthless and boring ATM..well i personally feel there must be some great gimmicks as well to make that particular sort of exciting...will ever see a ministry of darkness or masked kane gimmick again ???no !!and even the so called faces of wwe john cena(i need not say nything more) and randy orton ,who was good before but this viper gimmick sucks big time..they shud atleast get y2j back make him as face and maybe run an anti-cena campaign..just an idea !!

While not all of these are newcomers, I think guys such as The Miz, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and Alex Riley can go on and become genuine stars. I actually enjoy Del Rio too (I don't think I've mentioned him in the thread yet). They can still tamper with Orton's character to give that extra edge, he already has the technical side taken care of. As for Cena, the heel turn most of the fans are calling for would be a massive shift.

What you need is guys that can put people over, it's like a passing of the torch. That's where some of the older guys (like Y2J and HHH) can still contribute.

On the Ministry, that was an incredible storyline but we will never see that again. It was too unique and any attempt to revive it would fail and be seen as recycling of ideas.

or some other intimidating stuff like vampiro of wcw and stuff like that..actually feel that cm punk is probably the current biggest hope of wwe..he has succeeded both as a heel an face..also i would like jeff hardy to return to revive punk-hardy feud..it can make a great real life and reel life storyline as well..just saying
