The way Undertaker takes long intervals out of the company, it would have to be fairly close to Wrestlemania if they want to do it. I am thinking Elimination Chamber.

They could perhaps do it like HHH and Foley in 2000. Royal Rumble first then the rematch with the retirement stipulation. Those two matches were very good, especially the street fight.

If it is to be Kane, I will be more fascinated to see what they can come up with. Their rivalry has been through it all.

After speaking with sources I have learned the early plans as of now for next years WrestleMania 28 card.

Obviously The Rock vs John Cena and the plan is to have the WWE title be on the line in that match.

The Undertaker vs Chris Jericho would also be on the card. A rematch between Triple H and The Undertaker is rumored to take place at this years SummerSlam.

Triple H would go to WrestleMania next year going up against The Miz.

He can still put one or two (max) superstars over before he calls it quits. He owes that to the company, knowing the power and influence he will have later on down the line.

Like I said, I doubt we will see the creative team take that direction and I was putting it out there for MT and the lurkers to judge. I agree with you on his age (to an extent), but considering that Undertaker and Kane (for starters) are both older than HHH, it's not so bad.

I know they left with unfinished business, but we are just exploring different scenarios right now. I still maintain that Taker / HHH or Taker / Kane is the most probable outcome.

If it is to be HHH / Taker, then my plot will of course be irrelevant.

Heel Cena was great, he was unique and brought something to the table back then. Now, he is just beyond stale and the repetition is ridiculous.

I've lost an interest in Mysterio over the years, he became more of a mascot figure and his "underdog" status is overdone.

I agree with your list of good wrestlers, and the sudden retirement of Edge was a real blow.
