Re: The Official WWE Thread
That's possible.
The way Undertaker takes long intervals out of the company, it would have to be fairly close to Wrestlemania if they want to do it. I am thinking Elimination Chamber.

Or maybe Royal Rumble. Some of matches at Royal Rumble in the past were pretty good.

Re: The Official WWE Thread
They could perhaps do it like HHH and Foley in 2000. Royal Rumble first then the rematch with the retirement stipulation. Those two matches were very good, especially the street fight.
If it is to be Kane, I will be more fascinated to see what they can come up with. Their rivalry has been through it all.

I'm anticipating his return. He is quoted as saying "It would have to be something different to really interest me enough to want to come back.”
What better way than to take on a legend with the streak on the line. If Jericho wants to play the heel, he can do it very well.

Re: The Official WWE Thread
Actually, I just found this report..
http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/article/exclusive-early-wrestlemania-28-plans-matches-131087
After speaking with sources I have learned the early plans as of now for next years WrestleMania 28 card.
Obviously The Rock vs John Cena and the plan is to have the WWE title be on the line in that match.
The Undertaker vs Chris Jericho would also be on the card. A rematch between Triple H and The Undertaker is rumored to take place at this years SummerSlam.
Triple H would go to WrestleMania next year going up against The Miz.

I don't think the WWE title needs to be on the line. The match is big enough as it is and we all know Cena's going to win but with the belt on the line it makes it even more obvious.
In terms of Triple H vs The Miz I think if WWE want us to take him seriously then Triple H should put him over.

The fan response is hard to predict. They might not have to do a thing at first. Look at what happened with Edge lol.

It wouldn't be bad time to turn Cena heel around January considering his going to get booed like never before as a face vs The Rock anyway.

Yeah, it's best to leave it a non title match. Sometimes I find those matches more entertaining, and as you say, it won't be as predictable.
Triple H can do what The Rock did for Lesnar. If Miz wins clean, it will do a lot for him.

If ever there is an opening to instigate the heel turn, it's going into that match. As I was saying to sciacca, the fans in Miami will riot if Cena wins and it will not go down well.mtfootball wrote:It wouldn't be bad time to turn Cena heel around January considering his going to get booed like never before as a face vs The Rock anyway.
The thing is, if Cena wins as a heel, what's next for him? Who is the top face?

I hope Morrison and CM Punk are involved in the WWE title match though.

Yeh that's the only problem. Who knows, maybe Miz or Morrison might be credible enough by then.

I have a plot that I think could work, but I doubt whether it would become reality.mtfootball wrote:adnyana179 wrote:If ever there is an opening to instigate the heel turn, it's going into that match. HHH returns and builds himself as a heel one last time. After a while, he starts a rivalry with the Miz and this could elevate him to a face.
HHH wins at the Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber and the Miz wants his rematch. Miz wins clean at Wrestlemania as a face, opening the door for him to renew his rivalry with Cena who is now a heel after his victory over The Rock.

He can still put one or two (max) superstars over before he calls it quits. He owes that to the company, knowing the power and influence he will have later on down the line.
Like I said, I doubt we will see the creative team take that direction and I was putting it out there for MT and the lurkers to judge. I agree with you on his age (to an extent), but considering that Undertaker and Kane (for starters) are both older than HHH, it's not so bad.

he currently is feuding with taker..i guess probably taker will beat HHH at WM28 and retire after his 20-0 streak...but after that i'm not sure if HHH would be willing to do any sort of feuds like u mentioned above..like i said again ,u will see more of him in creative area of wwe..lets be honest ,its not an interesting project neither frm a viewer pt of view nor frm the wrestler's point of viewadnyana179 wrote:Surag.Blueguy wrote:

Re: The Official WWE Thread
I know they left with unfinished business, but we are just exploring different scenarios right now. I still maintain that Taker / HHH or Taker / Kane is the most probable outcome.Surag.Blueguy wrote:

If it is to be HHH / Taker, then my plot will of course be irrelevant.

Re: The Official WWE Thread
What happened to the white rapper heel Cena who took Smackdown! by storm? I miss that Cena. This PG I Will Never Die Superhero is so lame. Quality of WWE has dropped so much. I stopped watching but the return of The Rock and Sting vs Undertaker rumors pulled me back in. I only watch occasionally now, most of the time just check results on the internet.
Recently it got worse. Shawn Michaels retired, Batista left, JBL left, Jeff Hardy left, Undertaker and HHH are semi-retired, Edge left, Mysterio's always injured
The good ones left are Randy Orton (he's the best;really awesome), CM Punk, The Miz, Christian, John Morrison, Bryan Danielson, Sin Cara

Heel Cena was great, he was unique and brought something to the table back then. Now, he is just beyond stale and the repetition is ridiculous.milanista99 wrote:What happened to the white rapper heel Cena who took Smackdown! by storm? I miss that Cena. I've lost an interest in Mysterio over the years, he became more of a mascot figure and his "underdog" status is overdone.
I agree with your list of good wrestlers, and the sudden retirement of Edge was a real blow.

Well then, WWE is horrible right now due to these kids. I liked the Altitude era, when they would fight for ratings against WCW !
These were the days !
