Abate upping his attacking game?

Been following him lately, and he seems improving his going forward. Better crosses, runs through opponents, dribbling. Are we seeing the making of a beast?

yeah i noticed that as well, he is able to use his pace and quick feet to get down the flanks nowadays...great to see

Italian National team is really failing by not calling him up, Maggio is in immense form, but not even have Abate on the team is an outrage.

i believe abate will be called up to the national team soon.

As we hoped, it has been simply time which has led to his natural progress. He not yet at his potential as a finished product, nor should we be content with anything other than progress from him, however time builds chemistry, confidence and will further aid Abate's attempts to find composure and quality in the final third. The more things he tries, the harder he trains, the better he'll become though.

He still requires further defensive testing though and must ensure consistency and concentration, however until the Champions League or a national team call-up rolls around, he's rather starved of a great challenge.

Abate is a hardworking genius, he doesnt possess that talent for example as Marcelo, but his effort contributes for that. Only respect to that man

We'll start making that call seriously in about 2 years though at this rate after Abate and Balotelli rape the European Championships. Be very, very afraid. /optimism

He always had the ability from his experience as a winger. He's just starting to re-hone his skills now that his defensive RB game is solid enough.

Abate is just doing his thing, being the best RB in the world:) (ofc biased opinion, and I dont wanna jinx this any further) Not being called up for Italy is the only mistake Prandelli has made so far

Abate is really doing well to get dangerous crosses in the box as well as running down that right side. He needs to be at EURO 2012

He's becoming one of the pivotal players in our team. While he was an important player last season, players like Silva, Nesta, Van Bommel, Abbiati and Ibra just took a lot of the spotlight

Our focus in January should be getting Ambrosini benched again, sign another technical player like Aquilani, only better/ at least younger, who can grow.

Pato seems to be an ongoing problem, and with his pace, the injuries will not stop it seems. Superpippo seems to not be in Allegris plans anymore, (understandable, considering his age etc) and therefore we should think about signing another forward as well, though I guess this wont happen until next summer if we are to follow our cheap transfer tactics.

IDK...maybe it's just me or I play to much FIFA & Pes
but I think Van Persie would fit very well in AC Milan...
that's just me though...
