Conte rues wasted chances

Antonio Conte has only one complaint about the Juventus performance this evening. “Those wasted chances...”
The Bianconeri dominated their victory over Fiorentina, particularly the first half, but only scraped a 2-1 result.

“I tried to keep the concentration levels up. After a first half like that it was just not possible to be only 1-0 up with the game wide open, especially as they equalised with their first opportunity,” said the Coach.

“Fortunately we were able to get back on track and react to take the victory, so I praise my lads for that.

“The only regrets are for those wasted chances... We have to grow a great deal, but this squad has the quality to do that. Tonight’s performance against a good side like Fiorentina showed we are improving.”

Vucinic, Matri, Pepe - three of them missed great chances

Keep playing Vucinic. I am sure the missed chances will be converted.

Pepe missed the most, Vucinic no surprise.

Atleast Matri scored.

Vucinic missed a lot but at least he was putting the ball on net consistently and a lot of his chances were from outside the 18/ a tougher angle and he still put them on net.

Pepe missed 3 sitters, one time clearly missing the ball, two times he was clean on goal against the keeper....

Matri didn't miss many

Matri was class his shots mostly was on target , if he keeps playing like that till the end of the season he will be the top scorer

Matri was always a good finisher...
He need QUAG beside him to double that talent upfront...
I think Conte is afraid by playing both of them...one will get in the way of the other...idk but I wanna see QUAG on the field so bad!!!

Vucinic needs to join Amauri and Iaquinta in the kitchen. I can't believe we paid 15m for him, what a waste of money. As for Pepe, at least he tries hard and made a great assist to Matri's goal. But he can't finish a scoring opportunity to save his life. He is basically a waste on the offensive side of the pitch.

Hopefully we see Quags and Elia before they get too old to play, they are both starting to look like grandpas sitting on that bench. Hopefully they don't develop hemmorhoids...

IF there was Quagliarella he will had scored score 2-3 of them for sure
