Why aren't we appealing for Bosingwa's red card?
Everyone was so convinced it was not a red, so why aren't we appealing?
Or are we just going to do it later?

Wait, it says Bosingwa will miss only the Everton match. Did we already appeal (since a straight red card is 3 match suspension)?

To be honest, we need Bosingwa if we are to have a healthy squad, i hope he is not out for 3 games.

Its a professional foul you only get a 1 match ban from it afaik.

Yep just found out that you're right.
Since it was a professional foul, it will only count towards a one match ban, but Drogba's would count as a 3 match since it was rash.
So Chelsea aren't risking appealing for his card because that might mean he won't be available for Arsenal.
I answered my own question

I don't think he was going to play against Everton anyway.

Andre Villas Boas wrote:'We decide not to appeal because it could have put us in trouble with regards to his availability for the Arsenal game,'
'Because we weren't thinking of involving him in the Carling Cup we use this game to serve the suspension, not that we were happy with the sending off.
