Leeds were no where to be seen late 2000s, but during the late 90s they are a good team, similar with Valencia and Deportivo as well. Although obviously it'll be different if football started for you during PL's domination period (06-09)then... In that case, lets just agree to disagree.

What a ridicoulous statement ... this guy destroyed Seria A in it's best years and he was also a beast in europe ... some of the guys here definetily didnt watch a lot of football back in the days . If the second best goalscorer in Milan's great history is overrated then Henry is just as overrated ..

andriy never went past 35 goals a season, and he didnt win two golden boots in two different leagues.

Andriy Shevchenko in his prime is on of the best strikers that ever played the game. From his generation, only Ronaldo and Henry were on the same level as him.

He had it all, technique, pace, finishing, dribling, heading, long shooting, free kick taking. And above all, amazing football inteligence.

When Shevchenko was scoring goal against Inter, Juventus, Roma, Lazio and absoutly dominating Serie A and Europe, Calcio was at it best. Defenders like Nesta, Thuram, Cannavaro, Panucci and others were all in their prime. To be top striker of the league in that competition you really have to be somtething special, and Shevchenko was.

Cristiano Ronaldo really have great stats, but i wouldn't compare him with Shevchenko. First, because he isn't a striker. Then again, does Ronaldo scores in big games? Did Ronaldo bring CL to his team? Is Ronaldo best when his team needs him most?

These are things that separetes the two of them.

Fair opinion, CR07 could possibly the greatest in shredding enemies into smithereens, however though it has been repeatedly said I simply need to emphasise on the defending greatness of Serie A in that era. Well, Sheva might not score as much as CR07 if he played at Madrid now, but the Milan of Sheva continuously reached the Semis of CL 03-06 in which Sheva truly decisively delivered in the times when the team needed his output the most. :dance:

Well, it's true that CR07 isn't a striker, though you have to see the fact that he is an attacking player deployed on the left who moves in to the center with extreme regularity. While Sheva when partnered with Pippo or other spearhead striker, he also tends to be a little bit under-left than the striker. The point is you still can replace one with the other, thus they are fairly comparable as I have stated in the OP, the question is which one do you pick though. Oh well, you've picked one, but that highlighted word is a lil contradictory. It's nothing though, just saying :dance:
