Although the standing tackle makes me wanna be violent.Gattusso is perfectly capable of running circles around my defense...Brilliant game,I just don't know what were they thinking.Using the X button makes the opponent have a dribble success rate of 100%

It's always been overshadowed by Fifa obviously though the mechanics are a step up but the fact that they don't have licensing for a lot of teams annoys me.

I played like 30 matches so far...Lost all and haven't managed to concede less than 4 goals.I didn't manage scoring more than 2 either.Didn't score a single goal in the 2nd half...Defending is just ridiculous.

try jockeying, it works like a charm when used properly. dont rashly challenge someone and risk getting skinned everytime. and one more thing, dont pressure with teammate. it ruins the shape of your defense.

and you're right, playing against someone is much better than against the cpu. if the human youre up against has some footballing brain it is (not the press/sprint/tricks whore)

I have another method. I say hold Square ( teammate pressure ) and replace the hole left by the teammate closing down the attacker. I always position myself in such a way that I'm positioned for an immediate 2nd tackle, as soon as my (Square) teammate lunges in. If he gets the ball, great. If he gets burnt, my chances of getting the attacker considerably increases because he has less time to make a decision. Very rarely do I press X, after being annihilated in the first couple of days. But this tactic has been working well over the past 2 weeks.

And you're not alone in finding the AI difficult. My first coupla days on this game nearly had me clinically depressed. There's no worse feeling than having every pass shut down and every attack quelled. Teams like Benfica ripped me up on the counters. But you get used to it

LOL you guys suck big time. I've played 30 games in Master League, won 25, drawn 3, lost 2. I shouldn't have lost to be honest, but scripting seems to still be in the game

The only reason I think the game isn't ard of me is because I've basically been playing the series since it started, its core functions are still the same, so once you master it, you've mastered it for life.

What happened to heading?Impossible to head a ball towards the goal...Crossing is useless cause even when I hit him in the head he misses the goal by 10 meters no matter how good his heading stat is.

I've taken at least a couple hundred corners and still haven't scored a goal

Are you serious? It's not that hard to defend, you just have to be very patient and wait for the right moment to tackle.

Maybe it's slightly different on PC, I don't know.

Obertan is so good in the D2 League, the other teams make him look like Zidane.
