Re: The Walking Dead
Actually Tyrese finding out and killing Carol, and then Daryl killing Tyrese would've been baws.

Re: The Walking Dead
Carol will return, no doubt.
Next season perhaps or this seasons finale I hope
I hate this shows interpretation of Tyrese. Absolutely puts him to shame at this point he could be killed off and it would not matter. He's like an Arbeloa

Re: The Walking Dead
We thought the same about the father and son at the beginning of the show though, FP
And Tyreese is is essentially T-Dog 2.0. Obvious improvements are that he's a better character and he has ridiculously over the top emotions, but ultimately, I don't think he has staying power. He's evolving too quickly, something that happens to characters that become expendable. All of the main characters have evolved very gradually into what we see now.
As for the episode itself. Didn't mind it much. I don't mind too many slow burning episodes like this one as it's building towards something else. What that is, I know not.
Also agree with RG in that Rick had to let Carol go. It was a simultaneous exile and salvation. No way she stays after what she did.

It would be interesting to see Carol in a 'Clear'-like episode a season or 2 later.

Re: The Walking Dead
New episode, new stupidity:
- You meet two inept and injured people and let them go scavenging around the town alone. Is it hard enough to ask them to come with you or go in pairs?
- You are an alcoholic. So you get a bottle of whisky. And then don't bother putting any medication or drug in your bag although you have plenty of time to do so and 3/4 of the bag is still empty. But you waste your time in front of the drugs, reading the labels, and telling Michonne which drugs she should get. Wtf?
- Tyrese wanting himself dead. If you want to die, just put a bullet in your head.
Anyway, not the most stupid behavior of the season in this episode. Stupidity rating: 3/10.

Re: The Walking Dead
Does a stupidity rating of 3/10 mean an intelligence rating of 7/10?

Why would Rick let Carol go just for killing 2 people?

Re: The Walking Dead
Lol
She killed two people who weren't zombies and there was no evidence to suggest they were going to become zombies. She never consulted anybody, and basically just walked up to 2 human beings and killed them both
How would react if your family member was coming down with flu like symptoms, and somebody just shanked them and set them on fire?

Re: The Walking Dead
Rick's not related to them though. Plus I don't think the 2 that died had proper family in the jail. At the time only those 2 were sick, so it made sense to kill them to make sure no one else got the disease.

Re: The Walking Dead
You're seriously missing the point
It's about what's best for the group, and group members won't want to have somebody about who's secretly killing them, their friends, their family behind their backs.
How can you not understand that?
Oh it's ok to kill them sneakily because they don't have a large family living with them. K.

Carol was thinking about the group though long term. Can't take any risks. Just like Shane was doing.

That was one boring episode, sheesh! Was funny seeing the girl with the tatted leg getting eaten though.

Re: The Walking Dead
Shane's approach was different plus he had a fetish for Lori. And for all we know Judith is probably Shane's son.Yohan Modric wrote:Carol was thinking about the group though long term. Can't take any risks. Just like Shane was doing.
Carol may have been thinking for the group, but in this situation they are trying their best to keep everyone alive, no matter the risk. The prison is a sanctuary and if someone get's a cough does not mean they have to be killed then burned. It's the principle of the matter.
Karen could have survived. She could have been put in quarantines alongside *David* (think that was his name). If worse came to worse, the group would have dealt with it then. Would Carol have killed the little girl or even let's say Sophia (if she was alive) hell let's say it was Carl who got sick first?

Re: The Walking Dead
I don't think there was a quarantine when just the two of them were sick.
Yeh Carol probably wouldn't have killed them, however the 2 she killed were randomers.

And keep in mind this is just strictly what if because the writers decide everything anyway.
David was a random and Karen was originally part of governor's crew plus she was Tyrese's significant other too.

Re: The Walking Dead
1) Tyreese would have killer herYohan Modric wrote:Why would Rick let Carol go just for killing 2 people?
2) The group would have divided into two.
3) Why wouldn't Carol kill MOAR people if they were a threat? Why wouldn't she kill Carl if he started coughing? or Judith?
Rick didn't make the decision on the spot. He assessed her all the way through.

Tyreese doesn't know though and Rick probably wouldn't of told him. Carol wouldn't really kill someone close because they're part of the main group. The 2 she killed were randomers.

So it's ok to massacre innocent people because nobody would have found out?

Rick wouldn't lie. He isn't the sort to lie. Someone would have found out anyways eventually.Yohan Modric wrote:Tyreese doesn't know though and Rick probably wouldn't of told him. Carol wouldn't really kill someone close because they're part of the main group. The 2 she killed were randomers.
Why wouldn't Carol kill someone who is part of the main group? She killed those two because they threatened everyone's life according to her. If Carl threatens everyone's life as well, would she just let everyone get killed because Carl is Rick's son?

Re: The Walking Dead
Rick wouldn't be lying, he just wouldn't be saying anything. Plus he and Carol are part of the main group and they're close.
It's clear to see whenever they meet someone knew, they're always hesitant to make them part of the group.
Carol wouldn't kill someone from the main group because they're close. The other 2 were randomers so it was easier for her to kill them.
It would be more personal if she went and killed Carl.
Also to begin with that boy got diseased, died, turned into a walker and wreaked havoc. The same could have happened with the 2 Carol killed, so why take the risk? It's only later they found out that medicine could possibly heal the others.

What do you guys think Rick will tell the group about Carol?

I hope I never come across Yohan Modric in a crisis situation. I can see him killing anyone who doesn't suit his needs of survival or who he doesn't know.
