Really, I have no problems with that. The first season was a killfest, what more do you want? This way when people die you actually care, and not write them off as "meh, character #43512 has died".

I see you point Sushi, but the thing is, we're mid way through the 2nd season and half of the characters are pointless and uninteresting.

They can benefit by killing off these characters by having some great sequences like being trapped in a warehouse full of zombies. Something like that can create some suspense and drama- something that is lacking in this show.

Kill off the dull characters and introduce new ones. The writers can start anew and character develop new ones.

I really really dislike Laurie. Just notice that she spends half the episode crying, the other half Talking to the Kid and Ric about useless shit

Agree with almost everything you guys are saying. Would love to see the black guy that saved Ric's life at the beginning to make a return with his son. And hopefully some of the deadwood characters get killed soon because suspense is what makes a great show, and at the moment The Talking Dead is lacking it.

Hey, yeah... I want the black guy and his kid back, they were twice as likable than the farmers and had very limited screen time. That scene when the guy tried to kill his zombified wife was great.

The father and son have to be coming back, it would suck if they abandoned that storyline(don't think they will). I thought the episode was solid, obviously the end made the episode though.

The father and his son were shown in the 1st episode for a reason. I am quite sure they will play a very important part soon enough

True, lol. But yeah, that's a good possibility. I think in the beginning of season 2, he starts to tell the father over the radio, and then goes "nevermind, it doesn't matter anyway."

But I definitely know that the father and son will be back at one point.

Expecting that other guy that got his hand cut off to return at some point too.
