Bayern against Napoli

I want to hear the opinions of Bayern fans. I expect a tight game where Cavani scores the winner.

Well, I'm looking forward to this match. As I'm a big Neuer fan, I will of course keep my fingers crossed that he will keep a clean sheet again, but it won't be easy.

I am highly anticipating for the match, considering that I am beginning to consider Napoli as my 2nd favourite team behind Bayern.

I am looking forward to seeing Maggio vs Ribery.

I can't really say who will win until next week.

Napoli's attack is very strong.
Playing Boateng - Badstuber in the center of the defence, IMO will work.
We can still use van Buyten, as he is very strong in the air balls, and can contain Cavan, while Boateng have the enough pace and strengh to contain him/and Lavezzi on the counter.

so, JB - Badstuber or JB - DVB both can work and this defence proved a lot from season's debut untill now. conceding ONE goal only. in 12 matches.
Plus, we have Lahm and Rafinha and Gustavo for the back-up

Not to forget the Mid and Attack. Nothing much to talk about..
We can score many goals.
Paolo Canavaro is a solid CB, Gomez will take care of him

TBH, I really want a clean sheet, but I expect it to be broken in Italy. Bayern for the win though..

Too strong We need to park our bus like a dry stone wall and hope Cavani does his magic along with Lavezzi.

Me too, many say Maggio is overrated. Let's see him in real action against the best on form true winger. Second favourite team behind Bayern?

It's gonna be a tight game, that's for sure. Both sides defending deep and looking for the counter attack.

Napoli's only issue is their narrowly focused formation, IMO. Maggio won't have to just take care of Ribéry, there's also Lahm.

Good thing Robben isn't fit, because that would have meant wing hell for Napoli.

Anyways, I predict a draw and maybe a slight win to Bayern.

Well, let's say I'd hope for Bayern leading the group in the end and Napoli getting second place. For some reason I like Napoli far better than ManCity.

Bayern just floored Hertha 4-0. But Napoli is very hard to beat especially in their home. But I am confident of a smooth win. Man City's attack is strong too.

I like Napoli more than City as well.
And I prefer them on all Serie A teams (except Genoa of course)

But if we need to keep the coefficient thingy, Napoli have to get knocked out.

Hey, I didn't say Bayern shouldn't beat Napoli. But I think Napoli can take care of the 2nd place by beating Villareal and ManCity in the remaining matches.

(And mind you, Napoli could get more points in the EL than if they'd be knocked out in the first CL knockout round)

Well, you get the same points for a win. The difference is that you get additional points for reaching the CL groups phase. I'm not sure whether you get additional bonus points for reaching the CL playoffs, but I don't think so.

Bayern play better with Rafinha on the right, I know Hoeness wants Boateng to play as right-back so he can be Germany fist choice, but come on, Bayern on one side, national team on another.

Well, too bad that Boateng would prefer to play CB in the first place... Germany really needs to invest in the training of fresh fullbacks. ^^

I think the decider was the weekend games - Bayern is basically fully rested - They ran Hertha ragged while somehow covering a lot less distance themselves (forgot link to match staistics but I remember seeing istinct difference in distance run by both sides) whereas Napoli struggled.

Bayern are the most confident team on the planet right now, and you need ego/confidence to get far in competetitions (without getting complacent) - hence I think we'll win. Bayerns width is going to be a real problem for Napoli - How does Napoli deal with teams like Bayern and ManUre?
