Giving Chelsea's current crop of players a year would be akin to a death sentence, nevermind six or seven years

Re: Alex Oxlade Chamberlain
Too much hype around him at the moment. He's obviously a brilliant talent but he still has loads to learn.
Apart from his close control the thing that impresses the most about him is his passing range. I'm thinking he must have been a CM when he started his senior career because it's very rare for wide players to be hitting those cross field passes with such a high rate of accuracy.

Oh no Sepi! Don't fall into the trap of rating players based on their Fifa performances.

He is solid, but not "that" good. Will be, though, if he's given an opportunity to play and develop. I think of him like Shelvey for Liverpool. Lots of promise, but not quite a finish product yet.

All the same it's nice to see your youths from your youth policy failing and keeping you on the bottom half of the table. Maybe you need to start investing in some "noteworthy" youths.

Can only be certain once he goes on loan, which is a huge possibility in January. It's stupid to hype him when he hasn't even proved himself yet.

Now now lets not get carried away here with a /slowclap moment, it would be really sad if someone actually had those aspirations to be an 'important poster' now wouldnt it?

I'm really looking forward to seeing more of Alex O-C. He seems like he might be actually an exciting player in the making, unlike so many other English players (who are good and efficient with great physical attributes, but not really exciting with the ball).

Re: Alex Oxlade Chamberlain
McEachran hype by Chelsea fans is hilarious. What exactly he done apart from playing for Chelsea reserves? And considering the no of chelsea players graduated from their reserves in the last 20 years these performances for reserves are not even worth describing.
Its understandable they are desperate to see a youngster graduate through their academy but the way they are hyping him without McEachran doing anything even worth noting is really embarrassing.

Yeah only Chelsea fans hyping him.
Yeah he's done *bleep* all so far in his career but it really doesn't take a genius to tell if a player is going to be special.

Yeah even if he has done nothing in his career it doesnt take a genius to tell a player going to be special
Seriously if u believe providing links for a player hyped up by fellow players and coaches is proof of him turning out a special player is future calling that comment Naive will be an under statement.

You're seriously comparing Michael Mancienne to Josh McEachran.

McEachran is an outstanding prospect and he's highly rated by nearly everyone who follows youth football in the country. Your earlier argument was that only Chelsea fans rated him but that's simply far from the truth.
Anyway you'll see why English football fans rate him highly when AVB uses his brain and loans him out to a PL club in January.

Thats not exactly a very high standard for a player to be held too...
"Most technically sound English youngster" is a really low bar to set
