Nope. Xavi is in the same class as Xabi Alonso and Raul. You need the 2nd course to be certified for a division 1 level club (and I believe some coaching experience).

ah, to be fair, the post did say future, not specific as to when in future!!!

My own feeling re these previous seleccion players (list includes Xavi, Raul, Xabi Alonso, Marcos Senna, Joan Capdevilla) is that Xabi Alonso is the best bet for a solid coach.

I have played a couple of matches 10 v 10 and they drain you. Xavi only mentions there are more space to attack, but he forgets to say there are more places to defend. It's haphazard.

As long as he is as narrow minded as proven by his past comments he will never make a good manager. Pep, despite his obsession with possesion and beautiful total football etc, also has a pragmatic streak acquired in his years in Serie A. Xavi can't talk anything but Barca
