I'm making it my mission this season to try to see as many games live as I can. I do believe this season will be exciting. I still believe Barca is a better team, but I think we can compete with them much better this year and don't have to alter our formations to play them. As for Copas (both Super and Rey), it's the same, between us and Barca. For CL, this can be OUR year. Hala Madrid!!!!


Also look for Castilla to win their group and make it to Liga Adelante.


While I'm at it, I'm still hopeful, the U20 selecciones will bring home yet another youth trophy (WC) to join the 3 (euro) we already won this summer.

And then next July, we bag yet another Euro.

yeh, I know I'm biased, but that's part of the enjoyment of being in the world's best futbol nation.

I am a solid Real Madrid fan,even a socio, but I believe in giving credit when it's due. Barca have been the best team in the world the past 3 or 4 years (yes even including the year when Mou / Inter tripped them up). I guess I am first and foremost a spanish fan and we do cheer for selecciones first (keep in mind half of selecciones are Barca players) and other than liga games or games between RM and Barcelona, we tend to cheer for Spanish teams in Europa.

I know its not the place but if you remove the fanboy goggles for a minute and be realistic Barca were the best team in the past few seasons. Imagine putting Madrid in barcas position, you will say they are the best. Its no point arguing about the tactics and the diving but the important thing is the end result, they yielded excellent results even in the year Inter won. They won the most championships in the past few seasons. No shame in admitting that imo.

Now put the fanboy glasses back on, Real Madrid are the best, barca are the worst. We always are and always will be the best team on earth, we may lose it for a couple of years but we always return it

my point is not to discredit a team just because of the way they play which is what i can see here, and give credit where credit is due

inter was the team of the season in 09/10 and tecniqually the best team in the world that year and it showed.
