I think so, he is likely to be the one to flop. Thing is, you can't have perfect buys, sometimes 1 flops. If there is any of them I think will flop then it has to be Coentrao

1) he is adjusting to a position he hasn't played before (MF)
2) he most likely wont bench Marcelo or Di Maria

Sahin is gonna play CM if he is gonna play (atleast I think so), Altinop is versatile, Varane is CB and DM so he will play those

Benzema playing as CF/AM > Kaka. better playmaker, better finisher, better everything. the kaka in real madrid has nothing on benzema, not even in his own natural position

comon son, Kaka is still injured/out of form. you just cant say that to someone who is a shadow of his former self, but he can recover, and if he does he is miles better as a AM

still too early to say ... coentrao could still be a good buy.

mou just have to use him properly, lets not judge him that quickly specially he is playing im madrid as a midfielder

I agree, a in form Kaka won Balon d'Or and was the best player out there, Benz isn't gonna reach that level ffs (unless you talk to Turok, according to him Benz > Messi lmao)

he isnt injured anymore, this preseason was to show who is kaka after fulling recovering, this isnt like higuain's situation as he hasnt recovered yet. Kaka had plenty time to rest especially since not participating in Copa America. He has no excuse to suck right now. injury cannot be used as an excuse. Form however can and right now his form sucks. he did interestingly well in the first preseason match but has since disappeared. 3-4 matches in a row where kaka was invisible... wuts left for Kaka now? Preseason is gonna decide everything. who starts, who is the sub, and who will rot in the bench. Karim is fighting for his chances and currently is making a convincing case to be in the first team. I cannot say the same for Kaka.

Kaka is healthy. That's not his problem. He lacks confidence and has lost a couple of steps... he hasn't adjusted to his diminishing game. He can still be very good if he plays to his current strengths. Unfortunately, he's floating out there.

Kaka of 2006 (after WC)-2008 = best player in the world
Kaka 2009 to present = complete flop

No way Coentrao is a flop. He's the joker for Mou. I guarantee you he starts in the midfield. He just roams everywhere and causes havok. His teammates just need to get used to his movements. I think Mou has created a new position honestly...

Lol at people thinking Coentrao is going to flop, either he is going to be a benchwarmer ( a very good one) or he is going to play in a defensive line, preferredly as a rb or viceversa. Coentrao linking up with Sahin is next best thing. Im not sure if he is going to be more of an offensive type of player like he was in benfica, but thats good enough for me, all goes down for Mous decision, either he is going to play with 2 attacking fullbacks or just 1 attacking minded fullback.
Not to mention Coentrao is a workhorse and a good tackler.

I did not call him a flop but I said he is the one most likely to flop. IMO he is gonna flop, it's just not easy to adapt to a whole new position, and we're simply paying for something we didn't ask for

Yes as far as coentrao goes... not yet. too soon for judgement of being a flop. Coentrao is certainly an interesting player. interesting term u done sport... The joker lol... well he does cause some form of chaos for our opponents. gonna take a wait and see approach on Coentrao.

Now that i think about it... who do you bench for Coentrao??? Not Xabi and certainly not Khedira if he keeps his current play. I think he rotates with Sahin (depending on whether we take an offensive or defensive approach).

I think we're going to have a full 4-man rotation in the midfield all season.

All signings made by Mou aint gonna flop. Nuff said

its not about his performances,its because he simply doesnt have a place.as Omar said,hes not going to bench marcelo nor di maria,and sahin is going to be in the midfield instead of him.
