To tell you the truth, Perez cant arbitrarily go on and buy a player on his own. When i read the main stories leading to this kid linked to us (didnt read what marca printed), It was always about Perez liking him, and would buy him as a whim a just like Rosell.

Truth is, Neymar doesnt fit the profile of players we have been looking at so far in the summer. Simple example, and maybe regis will disagree with me, but that kid isnt a hard worker. He does his thing and lose the ball, press and little but dont really put any effort into it. I can already tell you that just because of that little detail he wouldnt make the cut to play for us.

Alexis Sanchez has a 1000x more chances to play for us than Neymar as far as im concerned.

It would be really difficult to pass up such a talent like Neymar if he was available. The club definitely don't need him but seriously, it would take great discipline to say no.

Don't think he will fit in either Barca or Chelsea, he would fit us more with his desire to go 1 on 1 with the defences, and i think the EPL would be too hard for him physically. And Barca only uses one player to make the difference in Messi, but i would see him as the ideal replacement for Messi, if Messi was getting old.

He would be perfect for Barcelona or Real Madrid tbh. I can see him fitting into both systems.

If that had happened and an acclimatised Neymar was kicking ass with Castilla a year or two ago, I can assure you that everyone would be falling over themselves in clamouring for him to be promoted.

But as it is, no space for him. If it turns out well, we could always buy him in classic Galactico fashion to replace Cristiano in a few years or something.

According to EC, we have struck a deal with Santos to sign Neymar at 40M.

I usually trust their reports, but there is something about this deal smelling dead fish.

But we have stuck a deal to keep to either take him in January or this summer...
