Most people just hadn't watched him.

It's insane too, because even if you didn't watch him in game (I did), you could pull up his highlights and see pretty easily how much he can bully opposition defenders. Hell you can see his NBA highlights showing him being physically superior to most of the players he's up against.

There was absolutely no case for believing Zion couldn't be a huge factor right out of the gate in the NBA. Dude has a body built for the NBA. Every game I watched of his in college I remember remarking about how it just looked unfair. It was like men against boys. No one could handle him at all. The only thing that stopped him in college was the inferior spacing.

Agree with all of it except him being built for the NBA. He’s basically built for being the greatest DE in NFL history

The problem with the highlights is they just show his dunks lol.

They don't show how easy it is for him in every facet of the game (except defence) and how impactful he is.

He's basically a new age Barkley with even dumber levels of athleticism.

My skepticism over Zion wasn't moving guys like Steven Adams around in the paint it was more if he would dominate other bigs in big games when it matters (because that's been the hype level)... still have to see that

and by dominate i mean, winning battles on both sides of the floor which in the end contributes to your team winning.

we're literally a plus 13 per 100 possessions with him on the floor, which is literally elite.

He's scored 20+ points in 8 of his first 10 games (not done since Michael Jordan)while coming off an injury on a minutes restriction.

I could go on and on here but comments like yours prove to me you don't actually watch the games.

That's just moving the goalposts because his defense could be better. As Mole said, the team has been better with him in and his offense has been all time great in his rookie year coming off an injury.

He's killing it. And let's not talk like Adams is a bad defender or easy to move around in the paint either...that's not true at all.

Adams is one of the strongest guys in the league, literally nobody moves him like Zion did.
