He had to go. He reminded me of Klopp's final year with Dortmund when he could no longer motivate his players and his team was struggling badly to perform at an acceptable level and get decent result.

Then, he went to Liverpool and won the CL.

Poch may not be as good as Klopp, but he's a very good coach. Now that he's finally free from Levy's shackles, all he has to do is find his Liverpool and start winning trophies, cause guess what? Being consistent and delivering CL football with a limited budget in a competitive league such as the PL is all good and dandy, but at some point, you have to take home some gold.

Would be interesting to see who Spurs are going to appoint now. Definitely not Mou, cause he doesn't want to coach teams with limited budget.

To be honest, I think Poch's time at Spurs was coming to an end anyway. It's clear the players were no longer performing like they once were and it'd be a massive overhaul to keep him there and keep the squad going. That is not to say Spurs fans shouldn't be mad, but I'd be more mad at Levy for not facilitating Poch more and not having a better idea on how to replace if he could not be facilitated.

Mourinho in the PL will signal bad news for LFC but I'd love to see him with Spurs. For two reasons:

1) He without a budget could turn them into a 2 season wonder
2) He would completely remove a competitor from the making

Regardless I think Mourinho coming to Spurs will be great, they will be nothing more than an Everton 2 years come.

To me it sounds hard to believe Spurs would take Mourinho, but hey

Poch to Bayern is very possible and IMO pretty likely

Imagine being  wanted from Real Madrid, United, Juventus but then being sacked from Tottenham in November

and then choosing Bayern in the Bundesfodder ffs

cant see it if the aforementioned clubs are in contact with him

Bayern would be last on the list for him although the temptation to finally win some mickey mouse trophies could appeal, it certainly makes sense business wise

madrid, united etc would be tough jobs where trophies aren't guaranteed, if he flopped there, his career would be in the dumps

so maybe he will do a 2 year stint in Bayern and win it all domestically

They had one great signing in 22 year old, Ndombele. The word Elite seems to suggest some established, world beater. He got injured early on in the season, and him alone was never going to compensate for the drop in performance level by so many other players on the team.

Ndombele has been hot garbage. He looked fat early in the season... low and behold, he's gotten some injuries and looks slow on the pitch.

He needs to start acting like a professional.

Hazard showed up the same way to Madrid... but he has a history of playing at the highest level. I don't know what Ndombele was thinking.
