Why do you think Ole will be again on United bench next year ? His words are not relevant

Anyway I think we are going to sign Mertens as free agent in place of him
It Is difficult, unlees he leads us towards some trophy....

Meanwhile Walter Mazzarri is going to be sacked from Torino Laughing

Lmao. He was Inter manager when I've logged in Goallegacy for first time

He got great results in Napoli years , Cavani Lavezzi Hamsik gave their best under his counterattack game, then gradual decline and he is not good even for Torino now

This Sampdoria - Napoli ( Monday night) has been an amazing match so far
2-2 ( Napoli was going 0-2), an amazing goal by Quagliarella, an amazing bycicle goal disallowed from VAR for a handball , Samp that ties on penalty ( Manolas this year )
and it is not still finished, both teams want the three points
What a league

2-3 now , Demme !

the German player (with Italian origins) signed by RB Leipzig in January. His name is Diego because his father is a huge Napoli fan ( tifo transmitted to his son ) and so named his son in honour of Maradona.

Fantastic game to watch. 2-4 in the end from a long range effort by Mertens.

Napoli now 3 points from EL. Looking forward to the Inter match in Coppa next week.

Its obvious what the problem with Walter is. Like Guidolin who is by far the most dramatic and emotional manager in football, Mazzarri manages his stress and anger so poorly it causes him to look exasperated by the end of the game each time. That vein that pops in his eyeballs and the heavy breathing (and bottle biting).

His success was no fluke but no surprise in crucial moments his Napoli choked since he has no concept of collective calm. Guy needs a break.

Torino made a fantastic league last year, one of the massive surprises , they didn't have get direct EL place only because Lazio had won Coppa Italia. But I mean , they had reached 7th place that it's an unusual result for Torino in last 20 years...
That Torino-Milan 2-0 was probably decisive for Milan to not get CL place.
Paradoxically the problem were born after their repechage in Europa League ( because of Milan ban).
- Team got nervous because Cairo doesn't give that promised EL qualification bonus ... reason : it 's been got because of repechage

- Torino were forced to begin atletic training very soon because of EL play - off, and it had not been planned ( I repeate, got because of repechage ) and from that point on Mazzarri  didn't seem to understand anything that's going on.

Moreover mercato was poor, Verdi proved to be a fraud, N'Koulou wanted to go away in August, he wasn't accomodated, so he refused to play at the beginning etc .. the first crack in the team before of collapse

Sack was a right decision.
But Cairo has just signed Moreno Longo in his place.
Former Frosinone manager last year.

I know him since his first years in Serie B , he had saved Pro Vercelli ( a club who has won 7 Scudetti, basically Roma ,Lazio and Napoli together, but the last one was in 1922 Very Happy ), and got a promotion with Frosinone .. but Frosinone were a battleship for Serie B level ... They relegated without fighting in Serie A the following year ( unlike of that first Serie A under Stellone).

Not worthy of a half-table club ( with expectations for Europe?) on paper. But he 's been signed also because he was formed in Torino, he was born in Torino, played in Torino and especially won a Primavera scudetto with Torino .. .and Torino fans give much importance to it.

Won't be everyones cup of tea but La Canzone viola recorded by Narciso Parigi is a classic for me despite its questionable themes. More so its utterly beautiful to hear it being sung collective in the Franchi.

I' ve watched Roma - Bologna yesterday and basically the Rossoblu' ve destroyed Roma. Deserved this victory no doubts. A great Barrow too
A tragic month for Roma and next match is against Atalanta

only got to watch highlights but agreed. again been saying this cristante or if pellegrini drops in midfield alongside veretout or (cristante pellegrini playing together just like they did at the beginning of the season is very bad thing - not saying pellegrini is not going to play as AM because he always will from hereon but it is an example)

there was absolutely no one defending in the midfield. veretout + cristante isnt a good combination there...

at most cristante should be sub for pellegrini or playing as AM instead or cristante playing instead of veretout but not both in midfield.

Another thing i saw in highlights was that right flank was absolutely disastrous for Roma... santon was pushing way too far ahead and not tracking back in timely way and musa barrow got all the time he needed and freedom to do whatever he wanted... he could have had hat trick.

think that mancini and smalling are less to blame ... they were all left on their own to defend against pacy bologna and they couldnt take do it.

Roma need to look back at games like when they had injury and how they adapted... again if there is any shortage, mancini should play as DM and someone covering on his position...

Barrow's best contribution to Atalanta's season
Poor defending by smalling for the first goal

Mancini was poor too , probably even more than the English
Same against Sassuolo
Defenders are underperforming and probably it is because of midfield too... Diawara' s injury is creating troubles, the most underrated Roma player

Neither Cristante nor Veretout are anything like DMs. The season can't depend on Diawara getting injured. It is pointless for Roma to push so high when they have no DM and their 3 best midfielders are injured. Santon and Kolarov push all game, the double pivot with no DM takes too many risks going forward, so the defense gets murdered when Bologna (or Sassuolp, etc) recovers the ball.

Fonseca needs to adapt. It's a terrible way to play to just force your own game when your team cannot apply it effectively. It's going to cost Roma the CL spot.

Orsolini has won me over this season.

He is not as complete as Chiesa who is quite the diva on the other hand but racks up a lot of individual points for Bologna and has impressed beyond what I thought was another underwhelming starlet. Should be given a look in by Mancini for the Euros for the bench. Shame Zaniolo will not make it as that really is a huge loss given his big-game mentality.

As for Cristante he isn't a DM and is actually quite skilled as a passer and shooter but just has such a deer like mentality he will never dominate games on a bigger stage, as a result of that.

I imagine that Orsolini will come back in the summer. Seems like it would be a straight forward decision, at least if the club decides to focus on a 433

Atalanta play with such a nice mix of intensity and technique their games are just great to watch. 3 points clear in 4th spot now after a complicated match away to Fiore. They play Roma next with a chance of burying them. Really hope they beat Valencia in CL.
