Emery once again confusing everyone by throwing on two 18 year old attackers at 1-0, then leaving his record signing on the bench at 1-1. Also took off his only real DM for one of those teenage attackers, when he's trying to protect a lead. All the while he's standing there on the touchline looking like he's just shat himself and is smelling his own mess.

Rodgers and Leciester will stick the knife in next week and hopefully that'll be that.

Universe not so much helping Arsenal eh EG?

They also have the best defense in the league above both LFC and City.

Thimmy's answer was coherent and understandable, explain the million years.

Same reasons as Thimmy, I've just exaggerated it because I have a well documented angry response to football's increasingly black and white handling rules. I think it's a blight on the game.

It's stuff like this that would get called under those black and white rules and that's a shame.

You have to take your hat off to the never say die attitude from Liverpool but we are starting to see the lack of sightings and squad depth catching up with us a bit now. Salah is playing injured and other players are running on empty at the moment we have money coming out of our ass these days but the owners just won't spend big without selling big. Some people say it's klopp refusing to spend but that's just not true. I'm sure if the owners said to klopp here's 200mil he would find a few players to spend it on.

It showed today, we were clueless without Fabinho who is easily the best midfielder in the squad right now. Bringing on Ox helped so much, hope he's get back to full fitness and can make that midfield place his own like 17-18. I agree with you, I still think this is going to catch us soon, we are dependent on individual class out of nothing (Mane in both goals) or our full backs to back us out which is hilarious. This is exactly why City will, during the course of the season, leave us behind as we struggle.

Sissoko's hand ball was nowhere close to this, that wasn't at all a penalty.

Here the arm is clearly at an unnatural position (It's like he's out to shake someones hand) and this should have been a penalty for me regardless of this being Liverpool.

Neutral perspectives would be good here for input.

thought that was a penalty - arm outstretched, unnatural position, not tugged in - but like CB argued those are inconsistently given/not given, and no one really knows what handball is anymore with the rules 🤷

Likely because it’s a natural movement. The upper body turns faster than the arms, and it doesn’t look like he’s intentionally sticking his arm out.

I saw that all sort of weird and stupid explanations going on here. It was a clear penalty.

So all other defenders who take extra care to put their arms at the back or along the body so that even the accidental case does not happen, those are utter fools then. That is what it means.

Sometimes Klopp is late but he recognises the problem and does solve it eventually. In fact he has indirectly mentioned it so many times. We just have to hope that he finds that formula during the international break.

I'm truly impressed with this Chelsea team and Lampard. But I feel their inexperience might trip them at the wrong moment and they will miss top-four.

Leicester will eventually drop out of the top 4. Although they play good football. Soon teams will start defending deeper against them and hit on counter soaking the pressure. I am still curious though how it develops ahead.

Rodgers at Leicester and Rodgers at Arsenal are not comparable as of now. At Arsenal the pressure of expectations will be too high and I doubt Rodgers will straightaway live upto that. It will be again an experiment similar to Emery imo.

VAR application in PL is so annoying, unbelievable

checking a Alli handball for like 5 minutes, during which the same few frames are shown over and over and over, and over

then there's no pen lmao
