He should have got 2 fantastic goals today. Is this the hyped up one or younger brother debut one?

Let's just say yes. It's good to be positive.

"Longstaff's father stated that both Sean and Matty Longstaff are lifelong fans of Newcastle United."

They are brothers and childhood Newcastle fans from Newcastle. What a story.

I imagine you guys are even tired of laughing at me/United by now ffs (probably not)

Ole gets sacked in a couple days if the result holds, right?

but that's not even a positive. Who even comes in then? IMO, bring back LVG as interim manager (he should refuse though, probably would)

whoever we get in, will do absolutely nothing. The season is done, doubt we finish top 8.

Yes. Try text messaging yourself instead of repeating the same thing on here. Or you could start an Ole out campaign and get it out of your system hmm

Ban all Norwegians from GL tbh. Ole out and Thimmy out. They all know fuck all about football. Stick to skiing or dog sledding or whatever it is you do out there.

Quality wise, we are absolutely bottom 5 in the table.

Surely, SURELY we actually won't end up in a relegation battle, I can't actually fathom that. Make no mistake though, that's the kind of slop we're serving up game after game.

That's why, as much as I like Ole as a player, and knowing full well someone else won't really turn this ship around without a massive squad overhaul, I think he has to go, just because it can't get worse than it is and maybe we can benefit from a new manager bump.

Heads need to roll. Woodward has to go. Ole has to go. We need to start building towards that from tomorrow morning. So long as we're actually working towards something and not aimlessly shambling about every week, I'll be content.

You have the attention level of a 5-year-old, so I take that as a compliment Smile I'm not sure why you're lumping me in with Ole, though. I'll still, unfortunately, be watching your depressing football team after he leaves.

Those are actually fair points. It's your constant, weekly "OMG we suck" "Ole out, Ole out, Ole out" that are beyond redundant already.

I think you'd look substantially better with a proper goalscorer and without the constant injuries, though. I had thought the likes of Ashley Young would be gone by now, but your squad is thin as shit. I don't imagine any coach worth their weight in salt, would want to inherit this project, so you're probably looking at someone like Darren Fletcher as the interim coach.

Honestly, I don't know what to say. Because I don't think you're that bad at all.
First of all, with Pogba, Martial, and Wan Bissaka you're missing 3 of your top 5 players.
But even then, (didn't see the second half), but first half I didn't think you were THAT bad.
And that's the feeling I get almost every game watching you.

You're not playing that badly, often times I initially have the feeling you're set up alright, and you have potential to have a good game, but then somehow you end up conceding at some point and it goes downhill from minute to minute.
It's rather strange tbh, but as always the buck stops with the manager.

Lukaku wanted out of the club, according to both himself and Ole. I imagine he would've created another Pogba situation, had he stayed. Of course, that would've been on Ole as well hmm
