Pepe really was all over the place. Loose touches, misplaced passing, wild shooting, very little discipline and defensive awareness all game (like that time he got sold by Tuanzebe turning around lol)... yeah, tbh, I expect a lot more from him even if he is still settling.

By contrast, Saka was very tidy. I was impressed by his hold-up play the most. That's what he has over Nelson and likely why he's jumped ahead in the pecking order. He takes care of the ball, and is already good at deciding when to pass and when to dribble. A shame he's not playing under a more adventurous coach because he's a talent I'd want to be giving the ball at every opportunity.

I feel sorry for Torreira btw.

It's like Coquelin being giving license to go forward by Wenger. He's clearly limited with the ball and isn't going to make much of an impact during attacks. All that tenacity and energy could be so useful in defence, but it's being used for pressing instead.

You've got Xhaka anchoring which means it's all down to Guendouzi to connect midfield with attack. He'll try his best but his talents are better used carrying the ball from deep and re-distributing the ball. He's the guy who should be giving the ball to an attacking 8 or 10, not a 6 being played out of position.
