I was just joking, at first i said Mitchell, it was too unrealistic so i edit for Smart. Not particularly shopping him, the fairest 1v1 trade i can think of would be Jeff Teague, however it does not excite me much. Isaac ?

Very surprising move to drop Ibaka tbh, someone will pick him up and get reliable help for a depth player, meanwhile Kris Dunn will be back on waivers within 2 weeks.

Well I dropped a 75% owned player for a 17% owned player, probably not the smartest move.

But I really need to secure steals, I get beaten 5-4 every week and I have to make the playoffs and pray for Steph.

The ownership % includes all types of leagues i think, keepers and all that. Not the most reliable way to evaluate players. Kris Dunn will help you on short term, but on a long term you lost a "safe spot", in the sense that we all have 8-10 players who are sure values to never be free agents, and 3-5 players to rotate. That's why i was surprised, as someone who loves trades you were quick to drop Ibaka Laughing

Another strategy is to go day-to-day and have many rotation spots and try to win on game advantage every week, Freeza does it in playoffs and it works... the disadvantage is you must always stay alert.

Also what is 8-cats and 10-cats league ? I suppose they remove FG% and add +/- differential respectively ? Not that i want to modify the rules, i'm just curious.

I have 11 players who I haven't changed since I've picked them up, only rotated a single spot so far.

The only players who don't have a certain place on the roster are Barrett and Dunn. It seems that Dunn is now a starter with Porter out so short term boost is what I'm looking for.

8-cat is probably with no turnovers, which I would love since this is my best turnover week and I still have 20 more than my rival. 10 cat, haven't heard of.

How important is it really to win a matchup? Because a 5-4 feels almost like a loss when I was leading 7-1 yesterday Laughing

Do wins count or the amount of categories you win in total?

There is a main W/L/D attached to your account which sticks forever and it's based off actually winning that week. If you go to manager comparison it'll show you the record of yours and who you're facing, it'll also show how many times you came first in leagues and how many playoffs you won.

However in this league its about winning categories, so you won 5 this week and lost 4 it'll add that to your table as 5 wins and 4 losses you'll go from 27-25-2 to 32-29-2.

I lost assists by five. I managed to get 7 assists today with the six players that played. Two of those players are Teague and Satoransky who both average about 7 and 5 assists per game, respectively. I can at least say this, 3 of those players average about 1 or 2 assists each. So I did have three players who played that won't give me a lot assists wise. However even those three players managed to get a grand total of 1 assist between all three of them. Based on averages, one would "expect" 5 between the three of them.

I would love to see the statistics behind this. I had 6 players including two PG's (one of those is among the top 5 assisting PG's in fantasy) and they managed one more assist today than Embiid did in his single game yesterday (6 assists).

At least they saved the threes category with some ok performances. Even there, Gallinari didn't hit a single three...

Thought I'd be walking out winning 6-3 today and it's 4-4 instead. Anyway, that's just how fantasy is sometimes but I just feel a bit pissed off with the overall likelihood of what just happened.

In the regular season it doesn't really matter if you win a matchup, since the regular season standings are a function of your total W/L/D

With that being said, you do want to maximize your team for winning individual matchups because when playoffs get here, that's the deciding factor for who goes through to the next round or not

Freeza up next Clubber

Another week, another L. Might be surprising but i am quite satisifed of my last week, my players show up with some good stat lines every day, can't blame anyone. Now i know injuries are not an excuse and all that, but i made the game count, it's 34-43 against the league leader, at some point i cannot do miracles

I'm really curious to see how Oladipo looks like when he's back. His knee just gave in when he got injured and I'm just wondering if that's the sort of injury that's more likely to happen again once it has happened the first time. Like rolling your ankle.

Any interest in Bryant? I'm shopping him for a guard of some sort. Looking for threes and assists mostly. Steals is a nice bonus.

He's injured right now, so not sure if people would want him atm but just seeing if anyone would be interested for when he gets back

Knee injuries are the worst, they take forever to heal and it remains fragile afterwards. Marchisio is a prime example.

It‘s annoying that I can‘t bring Favors and Hayward in the active lineup even though they are both fit and I‘ve already dropped two players in their place.

Yeah I'm not really sure what to do here. I also lost a game like two weeks ago when I tried to bring in Rubio. I only got updated the day of he was going to play. So I dropped a player to put him in but couldn't

Is it impossible to put in a player on IL back into the lineup the day of?

I explain 1 post above Laughing

As example Paschall and Beverley are playing for Urban today even if he dropped them. So he cannot activate Morant and Hayward because he'd have 15 players.

If you anticipate a day in advance you can re-activate your player no problem.
