I've seen it before, physically great players dominating at youth level and getting exposed when they need technique.

Need technique? Have you watched him? He's got handles like Barkley, and he's more athletic. And his defense is incredible.

I don't know who you've seen like him, but I doubt he exists.

We're not going to ask him to carry an offence by himself anyway so those issues even if they were a thing won't matter.

We have like 4 people in our starting 5 who can create offence, hell Favors can do a little bit in the high post.

So that scenario will never come to pass anyway.

Apparently west coast games are going to be played a few hours earlier than usual this season. Could only be good for us non-Americans I guess.

It's mainly being done because the ratings last year for 10:30 games sucked.

Makes sense tbh, people weren't watching some of the bigger stars because they were asleep.

Europeans/africans who follow NBA get screwed by time zones... to think Freeza must stay awake at 3am to follow his team Laughing

For us north-south american football fans the games are in afternoon mostly, it is less of a sacrifice.

Play the games earlier just means people who live in LA must watch the games before supper time. Less $$ for bars/restaurants/etc

As excruciating as the wait is i don't mind it, the NBA season is very long and if the off season was any shorter the players would probably pass out lol.

In fact I'd make the argument the football off season isn't long enough, the players get like 6 weeks to rest before starting it all over again.

They could at least begin in early October and have more nights off in the regular season for the player's sake.

Early season excitement from late Oct - December games, then... I get your point though about the regular season being long. January always feels like a stretch for some reason lol.
Post all-star break always has some excitement about playoff seedings and key players and teams finding form
