Also it's gonna take like 3 years at best for us to be competitive at the top end.

We ain't gonna go from like 12th to competing with the top 4 in one season lol.

Seems like people overreacted he's not a Man City type sovereign state backed investor.

So you can keep your precious status quo don't worry lol, but it sounds like we'll actually try to compete for the first time in nearly 15 years so i'm happy anyway.

Relax. You're not going to become competitive at the top end at all, no matter whether you're sold or not.

Even if it happens, i'm still convinced it won't. It will take some time for me take joy in football again.

I tried when Pardew left, didn't work.

I tried when when Benitez was hired, didn't work.

I tried when we spent real money on a player for the first time in nearly 15 years, didn't work.

I don't expect to immediately enjoy it all over again.

It would be amazing if Newcastle became a powerhouse. I still remember "Newcastle Brown Ale" kits from my teenager years and thinking they were cool just because they had a local beer logo on them lol.
