They're seriously good. Thoroughly deserved beating Madrid and thoroughly deserved beating Juve as well.

I'm routing for them to win CL.

They have a legit chance if Spurs beat City. If City meet them on the SF they are done.

Liverpool are favorites for me though. Rooting for them against Barca

If City goes through, they'll beat them. Pep never loses against these kinds of teams, they always bend over backward for him. Yes, I know City's a meme in the CL, but I'm very confident the one team they would get past is Ajax.

It's either Barca or Liverpool. Messi usually wins the CL the season after the WC, it's coming back to the Camp Nou IMO.

Kind of agree with this, to add to this i think Ajax would beat Spurs.

Just want to point out that even Kovac's Bayern had no real trouble with Ajax in the group stage

They managed a draw at the Allianz with a great performance. Then we went to Amsterdam and left them no chance whatsoever hmm

Young teams need to find belief and confidence... you get some mileage and big wins, the kids suddenly turn into different players.

Different story if Ajax had a more experienced squad.

Mbappe's pace crushed them in that one. You also had guys like Mendy, Lemar, Fabinho, Moutinho, Falcao, Bernardo Silva, etc. That Monaco team was very legit.

Not convinced by them tbh, the number of chances they missed across both legs was unreal. Teams as wasteful as them never win CLs.

Fairytale performances this season but I never rated Juve very highly and Madrid are..well, we've seen the season they're having.

Not to say that dominating both of those teams at their home stadium is nothing to applaud, because it is. but I just can't see them not being spanked by City, Pool, maybe they'll beat Spurs.

Yeah, Monaco and Ajax are both different stylistically.

Ajax builds through the middle, they play pretty passes, and they're fun to watch.

Monaco was ruthless. They were athletic and attacked through the wings with pace and directness.

Pep struggles with the latter a lot more. Yeah, I know this Ajax plays more vertically compared to other possession teams, but they still have similar principles. Pep rarely loses to these proud passing teams.
