Re: 2018/19 FA Cup
Argh. No point getting worked up. But still has to be said, City already have an unfair advantage of having unlimited funds, the best coach in the world and on top of that, on rare occasions like these, when they do falter, the refs help them in every way possible to snatch lucky wins.
Hope they indeed go and win the quadruple this season tho, so that the footballing bigwigs, not just in England but rest of Europe too can finally open their eyes and sense the malice money is bringing to football. (PS: strictly aimed at City's corrupted owners and not at the club as such and their fans, so please dont find offense, their fans have every right to enjoy this golden period tho.)

Re: 2018/19 FA Cup
Any sensible individual would retort City never had the use of VAR along with Swansea but they did benefit from poor officiating (not along with Swanse) which VAR would have really been helpful in. In theory lol.
I don't hate City, don't particularly like them either, more concerned that the use of VAR is for one group and not the other.

@Doc wrote:Upon checking, AGAIN, yeah, it's actually true. The 3rd round, only the clubs that are in the PL had VAR used. Well, here's me thinking it was just a room where the other refs watch replays from a teleprompter at different angles. Word.
DFB-Cup has implemented VAR from the quarters on, and they actually have deviced a mobile solution in a van used in case the game is played in a stadium that hasn't VAR technology implemented in itself.
Mind you, in DFB-Cup teams from non-professional leagues (4th and downward) get the home advantage by default, so there are routinely some games played in small stadiums.
Because noone with a sane mind would actually introduce VAR into a competition when it isn't evenly used in all games of a round. This is so absolutely crystal clear that I don't really know what to say? What the actual fuck?

Re: 2018/19 FA Cup
That's pretty clever and it makes sense the German FA (or whichever group is in charge of such things) would cover the cost of VAR technology in a National Cup tournament. Supporting your grass roots and all that. Not sure what the English FA was thinking but on an unrelated note, they got that PL team to boost ratings for the next round.

Yeah well the German FA is the DFB (meaning German Football Federation) and hence the name DFB-Pokal for the FA Cup

And did you see that goal after the penalty?
It makes me wonder how much is Zidane selling a gram of luck for and how much did City buy from him?

That was a very good finish from Jimenez. Now it's going to be an interesting 20+ minutes.

Yep. But somehow, we still look much better than we did under Mourinho. Not a surprise anymore, right? However, I've been saying for the last few weeks that we still need to fix a lot of things.

Re: 2018/19 FA Cup
If only Swansea hadn't have had them two decisions go against them earlier this could have been the most open FA Cup semi final in sometime, now with united going out it should be Man City's to lose.
