Verratti's technique and ball control is so ridiculously good as even the lead up to the goal where the ball would not get away from him despite the defence's attempts followed by finding the rare space into the goal, was remarkable. Always been good for Azzurri.

Happy for Quags in reaching his landmark and given 2 penalties deservedly to score and took them perfectly.

Thought Odegaard was poor. He worked hard but made the wrong decisions and was too predictable in attack. He'll never improve our RW. Perhaps try him as a RCM instead

Oh and Olsen didn't cover himself in glory either. Felt like the old Olsen today. Compared with that Norweigan goalie who really kept the scorelins down for them, Olsen didn't make a single save, and never went to claim lomg balls, always stayed on his line, Is that you Courtois, very unlike him tbh

Ødegaard was poor in the match against Spain, as well. He was playing as an RCM tonight, by the way. Lagerbäck likes 4-4-2, and that's the formation he's been going with lately. I haven't seen him play this poorly for Vitesse. Then again, he usually plays on the wing in a 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3 or a 4-1-4-1. Doesn't seem to find his momentum with the added defensive duties under Lagerbäck.

Tbf, for nearly an hour, the game sort of passed him by because Norway were playing long balls and bypassing him over and over. But i thought he'd do better on the counter when the game became more open. But he squandered alot of would be chances by trying to get the ball to his left instead of using his right. You can still see the talent but I suppose he doesn't fit in with this PL type of game we were playing. He'll look better when Norway have all the possession against Malta etc. Not because they are poor but because his sort need the ball to be useful

We are poor, especially our current midfield, but yeah, he is definitely the sort who looks far more comfortable when the ball finds him often in attacking positions. He's only played two games from the start, but he looks more like a headless chicken for us than he does for his curent club. He needs to play in a more advanced position, but I don't think Lagerbäck is too keen on affording him that luxury.

Kick-off delayed in the France-Albania game after the wrong anthem was played for Albania. Suggestions it may have been Andorra’s. Or Montenegro’s. Albania refused to play until the correct anthem had been played.
