really sad that Liverpool have improved in the era when likes of Pep manages City. I guess Liverpool have patiently wait and keep improving for next 2-3 seasons to actually win the title.

I think for this season we can concentrate on other trophies and close the gap with City to max. 7-10 points.

Liverpool is the only team in the premier league yet to concede a goal. Who would've thought this a year ago

spurs are a strange team tbh. they have a very strong team but they are not a team that make you sit up and notice.BusterLfc wrote:Kane: "We are not young anymore. We need to win trophies."

Spurs have done amazing bits of business in the recent years tbf. Before that they were a laughing stock and their biggest achievements were beating Arsenal, and now they are consistently finishing in top 4 and playing CL every season and occasionaly trying to push for the title, that's unreal how they transformed their club, some years ago they were a team similiar to Everton, a decent side but not good enough for top 4.
Imagine doing that in the PL with a limited budget, that's why for me Pochettino is one of the best managers. Now they got a new stadium which means more money coming in, if they can keep their best players and continue with this project I can see them challenging for the PL in the future. In fact if they signed 2 or 3 players this season I would have said this will be Spurs year, but they signed no one.

thats the thing. they are a very good team that seem to be strong in every position yet they still dont look like winning the title or the champions lge.BusterLfc wrote:Unique wrote:spurs are a strange team tbh. they have a very strong team but they are not a team that make you sit up and notice.BusterLfc wrote:Kane: "We are not young anymore. They need a good back-up for Kane. They also IMO need a new DM as Wanyama seems to be always injured, Dier is a good squad player but not starting material if you want to be the champions. If they made those 2 transfers in the summer and maybe a back up for Eriksen I would say they are one of the contenders for either PL or CL.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part II
But who knows what will happen with Spurs, judging from the opening games I feel like Lucas Moura will flourish this season for them, and Lamela looks to be having an injury free run as well. So they might have a really good season. Harry Winks also came back from injury, he is a great talent in midfield, he bossed it in the games vs Real Madrid in the CL last season.

Palace will be really good this season. Meyer, Wan Bissaka, Kouyate, Guaita and Ayew are good additions to the squad. They are always a tough side to play, last season they drew to City in a game they should've won, Milivojevic missed a penalty for the win in the last minutes of the game. This year they look even stronger, Arsenal should make a move for Zaha and Wan Bissaka IMO.

Mané now has 14 goals in his last 18 appearances for Liverpool.
This will be Sadio's season I feel it, he is looking so sharp early on
