There's a difference between rate and hype, i hype Silva because i know he can become a great player, for example i don't rate Lukaku because he is the literal dictionary definition of donkey. You like to bash Morata but at least Morata has a hot sister, what does Lukaku have? Turning speed of a cruise ship?

Of course not, not even a top 5 forward in Serie A

But can you deny that he is putting up Kane, Lewa and Aguero type numbers? No
Can you deny the quality of his goals? No
His overall play? No

Even gets assists. He followed up a 26 goal season with a season that is already pushing 30 goals, ain't nothing wrong with that in my opinion

Kane, Lewa and Aguero (and others) have been doing it for longer and deserve to be rated better. It was always banter.

Immobile is just having a monster season, last season was big too. Tier 2 after the big strikers out there.

His play has always been the same, super active, always making runs, two footed, etc. The change is his finishing. Last season he was sharper than usual. Now he is deadly. Takes less shots than most top striker and scores them from everywhere.

True. I think he should stay in Italy and I always forget he's 28 already. Could become a legend for Lazio but the problem is PL clubs just got too much money to throw around nowadays. Could see him starting for West Ham and the like even.

Nah, this is his third 20+ goal season.

I mean, it's definitely Immobile's best season and will probably be the best we'll see of him, so we may as well take it for what it is. I don't think he'll venture outside of Italy again. Also, Lazio should make the top 4 and should have incentive to retain him

Just saw the capo table Laughing

Immobile with almost as many goals as Dzeko, Ronaldo and Milik combined. Only game where he started and didn't score was vs Roma where he assisted the goal. Unreal how much he carries Lazio.

Going to be Lazio's all time top scorer if he stays with them indefinitely.

deserves credit where its due but much of his goals are orchestrated mainly by luis alberto, whom hardly gets recognized.

for me luis alberto the best playmaker and creator in serie a for 2-3 seasons now. how he is not called up in spain national team is a mystery to me.

He has 3 times more goals than what Luis Alberto has assisted him. Alberto can be great but is more hot and cold, going through a top period right now after disappointing last season. Lazio lives and dies by Immobile, if Caicedo or just Correa plays instead they don't win, every time. Most dependent team in Serie A on one player.

100 goals in 147 games. I will stop calling him Immobidone.

At the end of the day i am happy for him. He found the appropriate place for himself at Lazio, it suits his level of skill, not an elite finisher but definitely legit Serie A level.

Already made the highest scoring season ever for Lazio in 17/18

This season he is scoring at an even faster rate. A couple of more seasons at Lazio and he'll surpass Signori and Pioli to be their all time top scorer.

Never imagined Immobidone to become this prolific given he was never touted as a huge talent, coming off the Juventus primavera, despite how complete he actually is.

It is time GL finally begins to respect Immobidone given he has been a beacon of hope for Lazio for years as much as many want to hype other players in contributing to their moderate success.
