Good acting, directing and music as you would expect but a meh plot. To be fair I didn't know what I was getting into before watching, but I'll give it a few more episodes to see where this is going.

Yeah same here. It wasn't mind-blowing, but I didn't expect it to be. It's ambitious though, as we knew it would be. The scale this could take on is a lot to imagine.

The pilot was very promising, I think.

Great pilot I thought. Very high production value, acting, cinematography, score, etc.

The concept is very difficult so it's certainly going to take a few episodes to build upon for the viewers to grasp it fully.

It has the looks of a mindblowing show though. Definitely worth watching imo.

So Dolores is malfunctioning but she has the capacity to evade being put down. She certainly lied to management and she definitely knows something is wrong with her world. She also knows to keep it to herself. Killing the fly so casually Laughing

Fly doesn't cause them to freeze. The androids are programmed to never hurt a living thing so they never swat at flies, even to remove them from their face Laughing

Which is why Dolores killing one at the end should lead to some interesting things Proud

Going from the trailers and promos I thought that maybe this Westworld was a virtual reality that guests would pay to visit but seems like it's an actual park somewhere filled with androids.

And no — HBO’s scheduling computer isn’t rebelling against its network masters by leaking the episode. The early release is actually a crafty way of getting the next hour of the series out from under Sunday night’s second presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. The Westworld premiere was seen by 3.3 million viewers last Sunday, HBO’s biggest series premiere draw since True Detective debuted nearly three years ago. The news was first announced via HBO’s promotional site DiscoverWestworld.com.

Second episode is just the extension of the prologue. They really need to kickstart the story. Hope it will happen in E03.

GoT suffered in quality massively when they decided to go more mass oriented. We only need as much viewership as for them to continue making it. I take a quality show any day over a mass phenomenon such as Game of Thrones tbh.

If the show's good people will watch however sophisticated the shit is as evidenced by the success of movies such as Inception and Interstellar. Still feel tho they should have squeezed Chris Nolan's name somewhere in the credits lol. His name alone sells for lot of guys.

It's good. Enjoyed the pilot

I just hope this doesn't end the way Ex Machina did because that would be the most cliche ending ever.

It's really ambitious though and the production quality is great. Hopefully Christopher Nolan directs one or two episodes Proud
