Roma was bought out by a American Italian James Pallotta and his group in 2012. Inter has been bought twice, once by Erik Thohir in 2013, he bought a 70% majority stake while Moratti remained a 30% minority shareholder, and now this year Thohir has sold his 70% majority share to Suning, a Chinese company, and Thohir will remain a 30% minority shareholder buying out Moratti, with Moratti now completely out of the picture.

I'll believe this extra cash hype when I see it.
So far Asian take overs of European clubs have been nothing but disappointing. Look at Valencia ffs.

Re: Berlusconi finally sells AC Milan
I wish Chinese bought Roma as well. These Americans dont seem to have much money, though we have those stupid FFP rules choking us as well. But the stadium project has taken so long that most Roma fans are starting to get impacient with the Americans..

Fassone will be the new general director of Milan.
He was at Napoli, Juve and Inter before. He was replaced with Bolingbroke when Thohir bought Inter.

Some news or rumors on this front. The chinese apparently doubled their initial investment to 200 mill, and Fassone (new general director) wants Maldini back on board.
Don't know how the true the Maldini part really is, he has usually shot down any links of a come back for some time.
On more confirmed news, Mirabelli ceases to be Inter's chief scout and joins Milan as sporting director.

Re: Berlusconi finally sells AC Milan
It is done. On friday the sale will be complete.

Berlusconi to remain as honorary president. Galliani is replaced with Fassone.
The board consists of 3 chinese and 3 italians. Fassone, Patuano and Mirabelli, the chinese we obviously don't know much about but they are Yonghong Li, Han Li, and another one I think.

Re: Berlusconi finally sells AC Milan
The club officially confirmed the shareholder meeting on Friday morning. I guess now its a matter of the money clearing to confirm it. I expect like 10000 articles per day now until Friday speculating for and against the sale.

It seems it's already in the works...
Sky are reporting there COULD be another delay in the final payment for the closing. There seems like there are some economic problems.

Re: Berlusconi finally sells AC Milan
Both of your clubs are kind of in shambles
Unless Klopp wakes up about the transfer market and proper scouting is done, it seems Milan has a much brighter future in the short term (as long as the sale goes through before the summer).
