That's just the going price for quality strikers these days. I see Morata's valuation as slightly more ridiculous, actually. It's why I'm serious when I say anything less than at least 100m pounds for HurriKane is Spurs getting fleeced

It's incredible how the market has inflated through the roof in just 2 years. The inflation was slowly climbing at a steady rate in years prior to that. All of a sudden it's insane. I blame the new PL tv money.

Calol was a half-season wonder. Lukaku has been doing it for 5 seasons straight. They are not even comparable.. Carroll is not fit to polish Lukaku's boots tbh

I don't know why people are so surprised by this deal. Man Utd bought Berbatov for 30m ffs, and also Tevez, van Persie, etc. This is a club that has been buying premium Premier League strikers for a while now
