I like Casemiro, but I'm really not a fan of his lunging tackles. He has the potential to become a really great DM if he can improve his standing tackles and his decision- making.

marcelo (i felt comfortable with the ball at his feet from a creative standpoint on offense)

.....cristiano scored, but before that amazing goal i kept yelling at him to pass on many occasions. similar to benz, before he scored, his touches were shaky...but he took that goal well. we should have had one more late on when pepe bombed forward, should have given the pass to lucas on time. and ramos is a block head

cristiano - a hatrick is a hatrick, especially in games such as these where you need character. the man stepped up. i was just bashing him before he took the free kick cos i wanted kroos to have a go at it. brilliant game

carvajal- ran throughout; defended with his brain, and was a threat going forward. he's not the finished product by any stretch of the imagination, but he's earned his stripes. (i hate to make this about danilo, but carvajal might wonna thank him for the "competition")

sergio ramos- the blockhead played well today, he had that last ditch block, and put in a few good tackles including one late on. kept his cool today, even though he almost made a useless tackle early on (luckily the guy he tackled was offside)....i'm not his biggest fan, but we have no room for bias on this section. and for me, he was third best player on the night

No one can really choose a winner.
Asides pepe's play acting and the unfortunate penalty, he was immense.
The moment he attempted to bring his foot forward, Torres put his leg in front of him.
On that note, I think we shud rate them according to very good, good, average, poor

In no particular order
Very good: Bale, Modric, Kroos, Ramos, Casemiro, isco
Good: Pepe, Carvajal, marcelo, Navas, lucas
Average: Danilo.
Poor: Ronaldo, benzema

I think Isco's performance was unappreciated.
Kroos did not loose his attacking contribution, but he failed to cover up the defenders.
Isco was brought on to compensate more in the defensive department than the attacking one.
He brought a fresh burst of energy and drove through the atletico midfield with ease.
He ensured we kept possession and even tho he lost possession a few times, I'm pretty sure there were players on the team who lost just as much or even more.

Thought Bale played well overall too, very unselfish for his assist to Kroos and had better movement off the ball than what we have seen this season.
