Roberto 'Boby' Firmino

He has been very rusty so far this season.

He has gone off the boil in last few games.

He is being played more wide that's why.

He's been all over the place against West Ham, he was at times coming to collect the ball by the midfield line. I think Klopp has told him to take the Coutinho role, but it's not working.

He's been the biggest disappointment for me since Coutinho went down.

He's also not 100% fit, but it's pretty clear that he's not a wide player.

Origi can play out wide pretty well so I think it'd be better to have Firmino up top with Origi out wide.

We don't have any games for 16 days. Give Firmino 10 days rest. He has been way over-stretched.

If anyone doubts just how good this guy is they need to watch more football. Holy shit his performance against Hoffenheim this week was truly beautiful. Was the decider in all 4 goals to be honest, and was dangerous throughout. Nobody in the team presses as efficiently and thoughtfully as he does, and his tank seems bottomless.

This guy is a true star. He may never get the same kind of marketing other stars do because a lot of what he does doesn't show up on the scoresheet, and he might not score a ton of goals as a striker (though I still see 20+ this year) but the number of goals he will facilitate for this team and the havoc he will cause...my lord.

Easily our best, and most important player.

He has played 16 of our 17 games @ 76 mins/game. Then there were those trans-Atlantic NT games. No wonder he looked zaded in recent games.

Guys, do you think the Coutinho saga/transfer is affecting Bobby??? I never saw him react aggressively let alone use abusive words. It took me by surprise.

no. I think the common assult by the everton player is what pissed him off.

Yeah that shove was pretty vicious and completely uncalled for and I honestly cannot understand for the life of me why Firmino isn't protected by the ref here.
He's shoved forcefully off the pitch into the stands/against the boards way after any kind of challenge for the ball has ended. This is violent conduct. This is completely uncalled for and reckless. This is a red card IMO or at least a very dark yellow one. Instead the ref gave throw in ffs IIRC. Unbelievable.

We need to give him a new contract ASAP.

He's way more important to us than Coutinho is, he's only got a couple years remaining if I'm not mistaken and his release clause is "only" 80m.

I wouldn't be surprised if Madrid would be interested in him to play DMzema's role for them, they've been a lot smarter in the market and he seems like he's one of the best false 9 in the world atm (excluding Messi obv)

Let us secure CL for next season and offer a new deal in the summer. He is contracted till 2020.

Irreplaceable. For my money the best player in the premier league. Nobody does what he does while still creating and scoring goals the way he does. His performance even against Huddersfield exemplifies why he's the most important player to this team. Winning tackles at rightback and then turning around and scoring and assisting (right place right time). His movement, work ethic, love for the game...what a perfect LFC player!

Hope he never leaves. My favourite player since Torres.
