Fallout 4

Glitch:

Sell one unit of any item you have. .38 ammo is preferable, since Fallout 4 is littered with that type of ammo. Then, hover over the item you want and press Square + X at the same time. The glitch is very forgiving, but it tends to work more easily if you press square a split second before you press X. If the glitch is successful, you'll see the item you just bought on the list on your left-hand side. Accept the trade. It the glitch fails, the only consequence is that you'll sell the one unit of .38 ammo like you normally would. Just try again.

This also works on stacks of items. You just have to select the stack once (bringing up the select amount) and then confirming it with square + X. If you do this in Diamond City and/or Goodneighbour, you'll have tons of ammo in no time

To be fair, I didn't cheat until after I completed the game. I can't be arsed to grind for materials, at this point in the game. I just want to build epic settlements
