Meh. You actually know very well that Pep is coaching the richest club in the country and has a squad available Klopp can only dream of.
Which means you're really just trolling at this point. Not really surprising to be fair.

Llorente was a hand ball.
Aguero is a fucking bum and does fuck all outside of scoring. Ball loss merchant.
That missed Pen ended up costing his team the tie. Literally flops in big occasions. Best striker my ass
No way that was a handball. His arm was attached to his body, if it even touched his elbow
Kun had a good showing in spite of the saved pen, but I do agree that ball stealing is what he excels at

tbh i think klopp is a very good manager but to say he is one of the best or the best in the world he has to win some trophies first.zigra wrote:Unique wrote:

well, you see.. That's actually the problem. When a Kane-less Spurs puts 3 past you in your home, with Llorente leading the frontline for half of the game, it's also pep's fault.
Or when Monaco puts like 7 goals on you overall or Liverpool 3 on Anfield. Is it always defender's fault?

This should be the talking point one of the biggest frauds I've seen. Been at City almost 10 years who have sent billions in the squad has only 3 league titles and they'd have won last season in spite of him.
And when there was talk of Pep wanting to rid of him, there is your answer you ain't winning the CL with Kun leading your lineup.
Poverty Ibra.

No Liverpool and Monaco were 100% on him. This wasn't Laporte was directly responsible for the 2 if not all 3 goals. He has been there best and consistent defender, but unfortunately for him and Pep if there was a game to drop it was this one for him.

Laporte has been City's best defender overall this season and it is not even close. The quintessential Guardiola defender in the back and will even get better from here.

He should not be blameless for this game either. A team being bad at defending has a lot to do with their coaching.

Well, technically he won the game, it finished 4-3 so that's 3 points in a league setting and I'm sure they'll take that very same scoreline over the weekend too.

Tell me who's a good coach, then. I have some blind and deaf kids here, who would benefit from learning some positional awareness. Money back guaranteed, right?

Re: Pep Fraudiola Denunciation Thread
In a serious game, his teams can't defend if he doesn't have once in a liftetime midfielders controlling every single aspect of the game flow. And even with the greatest modern team of all time he had to rely on refereeing decisions to advance in difficult moments (van Persie sending off, Övrebo, Pepe red card).
Applying tactics like that literally means you are a shit coach IMO.
Deal with it.

This is a results business (like most things lol). If you can get results with style, all the better. But first and foremost, you need to win.
Pep is a fantastic league manager. He's proven that. But he's not that great of a cup manager. In a single game or two-legged affair, you start with a gameplan BUT (and VERY importantly) adjust to the circumstances. He just doesn't do that at all.

One goal was a goalkeeper mistake and another was a freak goal Llorente never meant to score... You can make an argument that Pep is ultimately responsible for fielding those players, but no one seriously suggests he should get rid of Ederson and Kompany. Don't see how you can put this particular game on him.

If anything he adjusts to the circumstances too much tbh, a lot of his failings are down to being overly cautious and making decisions which make no damn sense.
He has success when he doesn't overcompensate and doesn't adjust too much.

Don't worry he will be favourite to win the CL 2020 by next September. He has been the favourite for the past 6 years or so, this is his trophy

Re: Pep Fraudiola Denunciation Thread
IM GOING TO START BY STATING THAT THIS MAN BENCHED 2 PLAYERS THAT HAD 41 ASSIST IN ALL COMPS LAST SEASON, AND 31 ASSIST IN PL. In a away 1st leg resulting in 0 Away Goals
He lost this tie in London... Don't care if Laporte had more Spurs assist than any Spur player. I don't care if we won at home or concede 3 goals.
Start KdB in London, instead of as a 89th min sub. The guy who was Head and Shoulder better than anyone else tonight and we're not here talking about players letting Pep down. Don't care about Aguero's penalty miss. We barely had any decent chances that I can remember in the 1st leg. Then he keeps start an out of form David regardless of if he needs to be rested and plays SANE FOR FK'ING 7 MINUTES IN THE WHOLE TIE. Your young player of the year. Your second highest assist provider from last year.

Criticise Pep for not reaching a semi after spending 700 million, get called an armchair expert. Go back to what you usually do (that is incessantly annoy someone in the gaming section) while the armchair experts discuss Pep here.
In other news, we have a new VAGI/Shocked Neymar.
